"What happened?" she cried when I came home.
"Carmel Smalls' older sister beat me up," I sighed.
Kiki just gave me a big hug.Annabelle's flight was cancelled on Sunday. This was going to be a big problem as they would loose the hotel room at noon and they couldn't afford to pay anymore. Calum was in complete despair.
Annabelle actually ended up staying at our house as Amelia got ill on Saturday and went into hospital at midnight. Both my parents went with her.
So just after noon, Annabelle and Calum walked in together. Of course Kiki was shocked because she thought they had broken up years ago.
"Annabelle? Why are you here?" Kiki exclaimed.
"I'm staying here for the night," she smiled.
"Are you still in love with Calum?" She asked.
Annabelle looked at Calum and he nodded.
"Yes, I am," she smiled.
"Cool," she beamed.
"But you can't tell anyone, promise?"
"I promise," Kiki said, happily.Annabelle settled in nicely. It was all thanks to my parents, for once again leaving us to rush off with Amelia.
