You being in a coma was one of the worst things that ever happened in Clint Barton's life.

It happened during a mission where you and a few agents had to infiltrate a Hydra Base in Germany. You got banged up pretty bad and was put into a coma.

You luckily got out of it alive but now you have a target on your head by Hydra base you infiltrated and Clint knew this.

He sat in a chair right next to your bed, holding your hand.

"They won't lay a hand on you Y/N. Not as long as I'm alive they won't." He told you. It is said when someone is in a coma they can still hear things that's going on around them

"Nat, Cap, on me." Clint stated. They complied and just nodded following Clint into the Hydra Base that Y/N was previously on a mission in.

And from that point gun were ablaze.

One of the nurses pushed Clint's wheelchair down the hall.

Meanwhile you were waking up. You frantically looked around confused.

"Clint!" You called out starting to panic. "Clint!"

Clint heard you. He thought he was hallucinating but it was real. With all his strength Clint pushed himself out of the chair. He winced as he put pressure on his foot but ignore it limping to your room.

"Y/N!" He said happy. He limped over to your side and sat next you. He pulled you into a big hug and you didn't refuse to hug back. You buried your face in the crook of his neck.

"Clint your hurt!" You said worriedly. He strained a laugh.

"What my foot? And side? Nah, it doesn't hurt. At least when I'm with you it doesn't." You felt your cheeks burn from blushing. He smirks.

"Mr. Barton I really must-" you both cut the nurse off.

"Not now!" You both say irritated before looking at each other and smiling. Luckily for you and Clint the nurse went away.

You loosened your arms around him.

"You should really see a doctor."

Clint smiled down at you.

"I will." He said kissing your forehead. "Just let me enjoy this moment first."
