The cold metal of the Ark grazed across your skin as you walked by a crowded corridor of people walking along talking to each other or some just in silence. The corridor was brightly lit with lights covering the tall ceiling. You brushed passed a couple of people who walked close to the wall getting in your way. You mumbled about them not having manners or having the decency to look where they were going, some people were just so rude. You were ten, not invisible.

You were on the way to meet your two best friends, Monty Green and Jasper Jordan.

You guys were the three musketeers; Porthos was you, Athos was Monty, and Aramis was Jasper. No particular reason why, but it was Jaspers idea. It wasn't long before you found yourself outside Jaspers door, you knocked twice before the door swung open to reveal the two people you hoped to see.

"There you are! You took your time!" Monty exclaimed happily as he and Jasper each took one of your hands and pulled you inside. "I thought you forgot!" Monty let go of your hand and walked towards the sofa and table, whereas Jasper kept hold of the hand his occupied and pulled you along with him.

"Me? Forget you guys? Never!" You placed your free hand over your heart to fake being hurt by his words and he just laughed and Jasper let go of your hand and walked towards the sofa opposite Monty. "I'm a girl, we never forget, just keep that in mind." You smiled sweetly at them both before sitting next to Monty. "So, what's the four-one-one right now, boys?" You looked between them and they shrugged. "Really? Do you actually do anything when I'm not here?" Again, both of them shrugged.

"We can't be the musketeers if we have one of our own missing, that's not right." Jasper smiled at you and Monty mumbled a 'yeah' while nodding his head. "It's not as fun without you," he continued which made you smile.

Years had passed by before you realised you weren't going to see your boys again, maybe they forgot about you. Your mum and dad didn't want you hanging out with boys anymore as you started to grow up, they didn't feel comfortable with it, but never asked how you would feel about it.

Honestly, it felt like half of you was missing, and it hurt. They were your friends, brothers, and family, but now strangers. You cried for a long time at the beginning after your banishment from Monty and Jasper, but your mum and dad said it was for the best.

One day, you had enough and you got up early in the morning. You snuck out to go to the room closest to you which happened to belong to Jasper. You knocked on the door twice but when it opened it didn't reveal your two best friends but only Jaspers parents. "Are Jasper and Monty here? Can I see them?"

His mum smiled sadly and his dad stepped out and motioned for you to walk inside, once you did you looked around and saw the layout had changed, that was weird. Jasper hated change, especially change like this, he wouldn't like it.

"Sweetheart," his mum started, placing a hand on your shoulder and another on your cheek rubbing with her thumb gently. Before she could continue, you saw the look on her face which meant it was bad news.

"Where are they? Are they here? Why are you crying? Did something happen?" None of them responded, his mum was crying and his dad was comforting her. "I'll just go then, I'm sorry I showed up," you mumbled before walking out the door and closing it.

Where the hell could they be? Why did she start crying? Why—?

"Watch it!" You looked up to see a guard looking down at you, you rolled your eyes mumbling out a 'sorry' that you didn't even mean before continuing to walk away. "Psycho bitch." You stopped walking and turned back to him, he was about to walk off before you spoke up,
