Somehow, you had managed to escape being kidnapped by the Mountain Men, and wandered back towards the camp, not knowing where else to actually go. As you neared the camp, you heard yelling and screaming, you still had your gun with you so you raised it up, your finger on the trigger as you slowly made your way to the wall of the camp.
Remembering that there was a tunnel into camp, you took that. Before you stepped out of the tunnel you could see Bellamy on the ground, Finn was watching Raven leave on the stretcher while Murphy was helped up off the ground by Kane. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion, they couldn't be on Earth, they were still on the Ark...What the hell was going on?
You quietly got out of the tunnel, your gun still raised as you carefully made your way over to them. You must have stepped on a twig or a thin bone as something snapped, bringing everyone's attention towards you. You didn't lower the gun, but Kane ordered the others to lower theirs. Abby stepped towards Kane, whispering something to him, he nodded his head, still looking at you. Abby was about to make her way over when Murphy beat her to it.
"Murphy," you breathed out, lowering your gun as he pulled you into a hug, gripping the back of your shirt tightly.
"Raven said no one else survived."
"You demanded that I stayed alive, but I saw a Grounder running away so I followed him, only to be knocked out by the blast."
"And the Grounder?"
"Turns out my finger pulled the trigger just before I fell down, it went through his head."
"I'm just glad you're okay, everyone else here is insane. Bellamy tried to strangle me to death."
"Hasn't he done that enough before?"
Murphy pulled back with a chuckle just as Abby made her way over. Placing a hand on both Murphy's and your shoulder. "Are you okay?" She asked you kindly.
"I'm fine, Doc." You nodded.
One of the guards walked over, taking your gun from you harshly. Murphy went to step forwards but you held him back, nodding to the guard and then to Abby before walking towards the rest of the group and to wherever they were taking you. Murphy, who was glaring at the back of Bellamy's head, stuck by your side the entire walk, his arm grazing against yours as you continued to follow them.
"Any idea where they are taking us?"
"Turns out the rest of the Ark came down here. They've set up camp, thinking that they can just take over again, that they can control us like they did before, I'm pretty sure the whole 'being pardoned for our crimes' was just crap. We're probably going to be locked up again."
"We know Earth better than they do. If they think that then they've got another thing coming."
"I'm not disagreeing with you on that one."
"What happened to your leg?" You asked when you noticed him walking slightly.
"One of the Grounders had me as a prisoner, again. Raven shot him in the head when he went looking for more prisoners in the dropship. He didn't have much luck there." He chuckled to himself.
"So where did Bellamy and Finn come from?"
"Not sure, although I think that guy might have been involved." He pointed to one of the dead Grounders on the floor.
"Looks like Tristan," you commented.
"Looks like flies' food to me."
You rolled your eyes at him. You weren't sure how long you had all been walking for but you soon made your way over to what looked like a chunk of the Ark. Obviously, it didn't have a graceful landing. Everyone seemed to cheer while they watched you all return. Bellamy was taken away somewhere, Finn followed Raven to what you assumed was the medical tent and Murphy and yourself were guided inside. Obviously to get washed and clean clothes. Maybe something to eat.

When you stepped out of the Ark, finally washed and in cleaner clothes, you went searching for Murphy. He was sitting at one of the tables, picking at his shirt as well as looking at the cup in his hand. Kane had told you that your crimes were still pardoned, so you wouldn't have anything to worry about, but it didn't stop some people from whispering and glaring at you as you made your way over to Murphy.
"Hey," you greeted as you sat down near him on one of the corners of the square table.
"Hey." He picked at his collar again.
"Itchy?"
"No, some idiot gave me a size too small, now I'm being strangled. Again."
"Didn't you ask for another one?"
"I did, but he said I will take what I'm given."
"Rough."
"Tell me about it. Have you seen that they salvaged some of Monty's still from the dropship? Now if only they could salvage Monty, huh?"
You ignored his comment and stood up with your hand out to him. "C'mon, let's go find you a new shirt."
"Okay." He nodded, leaving the empty cup on the table after downing the rest of the drink, grabbing your hand.
Weaving in and out of the Sky People wasn't very easy, they didn't seem to take notice of you or Murphy as you both tried to make your way to the Ark door. You had to forcefully push people out of the way, a few times almost breaking out in a fight, before you had finally wedged your way to the entrance, grumbling about the people. Murphy chuckled from behind you as you dragged him along the corridors.
When you reached one of the rooms, that had extra clothes, you walked in and grabbed two of the larger shirts for Murphy. He waited outside, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, for you to come back out. You waved the shirts in the air slightly as he kicked himself off of the wall, following you to one of the rooms that were vacant.
As soon as you walked in Murphy grabbed the back of his shirt and struggled to yank it off, coughing out as it tugged at his neck. You placed the shirts down on the bed and walked over to help him. He huffed out in annoyance as his hands dropped to his sides. You smiled to yourself as you stretched the collar of the shirt, leaving him to yank it off again. He had a red mark around his neck, from where the shirt tugged against him. Murphy rubbed his neck with a wince.
"Can you kiss it better?" He smirked when he noticed you staring at it.
"What are you? A baby?" He squinted his eyes as his lips fell into a straight line.
"Well, I'm your baby." He smirked again.
"Shut up," you mumbled, a light tint running to your cheeks as you shook your head.
"Please? It might make me feel better?" He pouted.
You glared at him, shaking your head with a small laugh. "You're unbelievable."
"I didn't hear you say no..."
He tilted his head slightly, a grin on his face as soon as he felt your lips touch his neck. You placed a gentle kiss to the mark on his neck, kissing along the red line before pulling away, picking up the shirt and handing it to him. He rolled his eyes before he picked up the black long-sleeved shirt and the dark blue t-shirt to go over it—clearly for fashion's sake.
"Thanks," he mumbled out, scrunching up the other shirt, throwing it to one corner of the room away from him.
"You're welcome, baby." You grinned just as he wrapped his arms around you, trapping your arms to your sides. He leaned down a pressed a soft kiss to your lips before resting his head on top of yours.
"I don't know about you but I'm tired, and that bed is very tempting," Murphy spoke up, you turned your head to look at the bed.
"Then go to sleep of your tired," you told him quietly.
"Okay, but you're staying with me." You rolled your eyes as he pulled you over to the bed, laying down first before he pulled you on top of him. He let out a sigh, closing his eyes as you moved the blanket over the two of you. You could tell he was tired as he was already asleep by the time you looked back up at his face, you smiled to yourself before resting your head on his chest, falling asleep as well.
