The two of you were at his place, by the lounge. You decided you wanted to eat lunch there and just barged in.
In the few months you have known Yuri, his parents had already taken a liking to you.
Who wouldn't? You had the ability to grow on people...pretty much like a fungus.
Okay...that was disgusting.
But the matter of barging into their place out of the blue has become second nature to you.
You didn't want to stay home all of the time. Besides, your parents barely ever come home. The two of them practically didn't even live at your place seeing as they were always out on business trips.
In your mind, you would have sued them for child negligence but then, you do not even have the money to hire a decent lawyer.
They were great and you love them to bits but you wished that they would lend an ear to your problems for once and hope that they look your way.
Luckily, Hiroko and Toshiya willingly filled the void the absence of your parents made.
"The last I saw them was almost two days ago when - Hey, are you even listening?"
He just nodded, not even looking you in the eye.
"Alright then, what did I just say?"
Another nod.
You planted your hands on your hips and huffed, "It's rude not to listen to someone when they're talking, Yuri."
And another.
You knew something was up when your friend who would usually lend a willing ear to your rants just despondently nodded at your remarks
His eyes were sunken and dull and it looks like he hasn't slept a wink the night before.
You bit your lip in thought and grinned when an idea came to mind.
"Hey~" you drawled and lightly poked at his cheek, "I heard that Victor Nikiforov is coming to town."
No reaction.
Zilch, nadda, nothing.
You dramatically gasped out in horror.
If the mention of his one true idol didnt snap him out of his funk, something was definitely wrong.
You abruptly stood up, garnering the attention of the other patrons in the room, grabbed Yuri by his wrist and dragged him out.
At first he blinked in surprise but still didnt utter a sound.
You rushed by his sister who just gave you a questioning stare, "Where are you two going?"
You looked at her, your (e/c) dead serious and pointed to your captive friend who was still out of it, "An intervention." You stated simply.
She nodded, not really that interested since the serious look you had in your face was rather more amusing than of real cause for alarm, "Just bring him back before 6:00, okay? I need his help to clean some of the baths."
You nodded and left.
Hiroko saw the exchange and smiled, "Where are they off to this time?"
Mari shrugged, "Knowing (Y/N), who knows?"
The weather outside was rather nippy but you didnt let it deter you from getting to your destination.
You looked at your friend who was obviously conscious but otherwise 'dead' to the world and sighed.
