Yuri Plisetsky could feel small beads of sweat trickle down his forehead as he watched the pig hold his final position in the center of the rink. He was trying to catch his breath and at the same time, he was trying to soak everything in. He was grinning from ear to ear right now but he was kind of lost in the moment so it mattered little to him if he looked silly. The crowd's reaction was probably rewarding for the dark haired skater in and of itself. A standing ovation was what he got and they just would not stop. It was insane.

Not bad for someone they initially did not want to succeed, he'll give him that. He knows when to give credit where credit was due.

He had delivered a seamless short program and it was obvious that the Japanese man  was absolutely elated. Yuri knew that this has got to be one of the best performance, if not, the best performance the dark haired skater has ever done to date. He was in top form. He hadn't mistimed his spins, all his jumps were clean, and not to mention his step sequence had a little more flare to it than usual. He had obviously upped his game . He has been working hard on refining his program ever since the 'Hot springs on Ice' event back in Hasetsu much to his chagrin. He could say that his rival has gone a long way since then and that the pig was quite proud of himself which was a rare occurrence. Overall, the twenty-three year old seemed to feel really good about his short. Judging by his performance, he'll probably get to beat his personal best much to his dismay. He could tell that he felt rather accomplished and satisfied with himself.

Well, he could not have that now can he? He did promise that the Japanese pig wouldn't even be able to take to the podium in this event. He would not allow that pig to rest easy, not on his watch. He wanted to hold true to his promise to you that he will beat his sorry ass.

Yuri continued to observe the older Japanese skater. He honestly didn't think he'd be able to do so well, especially not when he was sort of the underdog of this event. His fists clenched tightly as his knuckles turned white. His gritted his teeth. His heart just wouldn't stop beating so hard against his chest. He just looked so damn happy and it was beginning to get to him.

It wasn't fair.

Everything seems to be falling back into place for him meanwhile he...

He shook his head in an attempt to clear his thoughts.

It wasn't his grandfather's fault that he suddenly didn't feel well enough to watch him skate. His health was far more important. He did not hold it against him that he couldn't come, he understands his situation. The earlier call from his grandfather had just rattled him a bit, that's all. Although, he was rather disappointed in himself for having to expect too much.

He was in no way envious of a stupid Japanese pig and how the person he loves is supporting him in this event.

Once the other Yuri had stepped foot out of the rink, he was immediately  greeted by his coach who gave him a huge pat on the back. Victor was wearing a huge grin on his face, so much so that it was practically blinding, "I saw what you did out there, Yuri," he started conversationally. Then he winked at his student, "That was a rather bold move you did, Casanova~"

"I-I don't want to talk about it Victor..."

The older male simply smiled at his student's bashfulness, "Who said anything about you having to talk?" He asked teasingly, "What you did pretty much spoke for itself, didn't it?"

Oh this was just great. Now his buffoon of a coach began teasing him about it. He wasn't blind. He had caught what the fatso did before his program started. He just could not understand the audacity this man had doing something like that not so long after the events of the Cup of China. If this was a way to toy with you then it was all in bad taste.
