Your heart was in the right place and yet something was still lacking...

The answer wouldn't come with a snap of a finger. You pulled yet another all nighter mulling over Victor's words.

You were becoming so accustomed of running on a couple of hours a sleep a day it wasn't even funny anymore. Maybe you're slowly transitioning into a vampire or something...*

Just who were you skating for?

Maybe if you could figure that out, you could finally better yourself.

You would have asked Yuri but he had his own problems to deal with. He still couldn't express 'Eros' well enough into his skating.

The two of you were at Ice Castle which was closed off for the day so that you guys could use it for practice.

He had been beating himself up over it ever since he had found that his 'Eros' is his favorite meal...you were still rather sore about that.

"I still think anyone but me should do this program..." Yuri muttered dejectedly, "Victor must have made a mistake."

You shook your head, "Nope. I think he made the right choice," you admitted, "It would be a nice change of pace for you. You only need to add a little more...'umph' to your perfomance."

He raised a brow, "You got any ideas?" he asked dryly.

You gave him a teasing smile, "I got a few...and one of them involves taking off a few articles of clothing~"

His face suddenly felt hot, "I don't think that's the kind of idea I was looking for..."

"You two should quit being gross," Yurio suddenly stated as he barged in and dropped his gear on the bench. He proceeded to slip on his skates, "You guys are disgusting."

You rolled your eyes at the blonde teen, "Don't like it? Then go find another rink to practice in, grumpy ass kitten."

"I said stop calling me that, asshole!"

"Make me, grumpy ass kitten!" you growled.

Yuri sweat dropped. It was far too early for any of this, "Yurio, do you know where Victor is?"

You and Yurio stopped glaring at each other for a moment, he huffed, "He isn't here yet? Heh. Figures," he muttered, "He probably went drinking until dawn, that dumb ass."

Yurio stood up and headed for the rink.

"Hey, Yurio?"

"Huh, what?"

Yuri lowered his head and clasped his hands together, pleading, "Could you please teach me how to land a quad Salchow."

Yurio regarded the dark haired skater quietly, as if he is silently assessing him.

Yuri knew that if he wanted to progress even further as a professional figure skater, he better start learning the more advance set of jumps. It would be a pain to learn...but he has to try!

Yurio wordlessly turned and headed straight for the rink anyway.

He suppose that was a 'no' then.

Yuri's shoulders slackened and you approached him carefully, "It's alright Yuri," you sent a pointed a glare towards the blonde, "maybe he doesn't want to teach you because he can't."

Yurio halted in mid step.

"Oh well," you sighed, "I guess the grumpy ass kitten is actually a grumpy ass chicken."

The teen knew that he shouldn't have taken your baiting, but he did, "Stop feeding lies to the pig, you asshole!" he turned to Yuri with narrowed, "You're the one asking for favors here, pork cutlet bowl. At least turn up when you do!"
