That moment when I realized this is the longest book I have ever written and that said book just reached 50 chapters. Hah.

Yuri tried his best to get himself off of practice earlier. Key word - tried.
Victor let him off easy this time. He was allowed to leave as long as the two of you throw in another extra hour of practice the next day much to Yurio's chagrin (Victor would have no one else to pick on but him now). Yuri wasn't exactly sure what your reaction would be to another hour of practice but he would take what he could get.
He just needed to get to you.
Something was off and he wanted to find out 'what'.
He ran straight home, bumping into the occasional passerby as he did and muttering quick apologies.
He needed to get to you.
It was beginning to get darker and the sun had already started to set over the horizon. The chilly air nipped at his exposed skin.
Once he made it home, he half expected you to be either in the lounge, moping or in the kitchen helping his mom out with cooking (or in most cases, raiding their fridge).
But oddly enough, you weren't anywhere to be found.
Where could you have gone off to?
"You're looking for (Y/N)?"
He turned to the sound of his mother's voice. She was drying off her wet hands with a towel, "I thought (Y/N) was with you."
His eyes widened and he bolted for the door.
"Y-Yuri?!"
He ran back outside not knowing just where to start looking for you. He doesn't know why, but you being gone all of a sudden filled him with dread.
His panicking was starting to get the better of him again.
This was you he was talking about. He knew you could take care of yourself...but still.
He was worried.
He checked all of the places he knows you liked to frequent. The beach, downtown, Minako's studio, and he even stopped by Ice Castle again just to see if you somehow decided to go back.
He made a beeline for the rink and surely enough, Victor and Yuri were still at it, practicing. The sound of his heavy foot falls caught bothe their attention and they stopped.
"Yuri?" Victor looked at his student questioningly, "What are you doing back here? I thought you had gone home."
Yurio was also curious as to why he had gone back after all of the trouble he had gone through to get out of practice early.
Yuri took a moment to catch his breath and wiped the sweat off his fave with the back off his hand. He gripped the skirting of the rink tightly, "I can't find...I can't...I..."
Victor skated towards the bespectacled ravenette on the side of the rink and placed both hands on his shoulders, "Yuri. Yuri, listen to me," he stated firmly, "Take a deep breath and calm down."
Yuri did as he was told and tried to calm himself down.
"Good. Now, what is the matter?"
"It's (Y/N)..." He started slowly, "(Y/N)'s missing..."
"What?!"
Yuri looked away, " I think (Y/N) left earlier. I expected them to be there at the house...but mom said that (Y/N) hasn't even gone home yet."
