During the course of Victor's stay there were times when he manages to pin you down (figuratively of course) and squeeze out a little more information out of you.
He wasn't stupid. He knew that you were going out of your way to avoid him.
The only thing he wanted to know was why.
This was one of those times...
And you were far from pleased.
Having just arrived back at the inn after your morning run (which you begrudgingly did under the orders of a certain Russian figure skating legend who shall not be named), the last thing that you wanted to do was to play 20 questions with the guy.
But there you were doing just that.
"So what's your favorite food?"
"(Favorite food)."
"Any music preference?"
"(Genre of music)."
"Okay, how about-"
You groaned, "I really don't have time for this, Victor. You already made me run a hundred miles, just what is it that you want from me?" You asked in exasperation. You were prone to exaggeration of course, but you really just wanted to take a nice shower, go hole yourself in Yuri's room and hide under the covers.
Apparently that was too much to ask.
"No," he stated with his arms folded in front of his chest, "You are going to stay here with me and join me for breakfast."
"I already ate before I left." You lied. But since the universe has decided to be mean to you today, your stomach grumbled.
He just gave you a knowing smile and you slumped down in defeat.
There was no getting away from this guy wasn't there?
Where was Yuri when you needed him? You needed a distraction for Victor so that you could hopefully get away and do as you pleased.
"Fine..." You grumbled, "I'll just go get myself some rice..."
He clapped his hands like a child who had just opened his gift on Christmas morning.
Well he certainly was easy to please.
The dining area was quiet save it be for the sound of Makkachin barking every now and then somewhere.
Sitting yourself across from him, you took a bite of your meal and he just stared at you expectantly with those expressive blue eyes of his.
It was rather unnerving.
"Could you please stop that."
He tilted his head to the side, "Stop what?"
You took another bite, chewed then swallowed, "Stop staring at me. It's distracting."
He raised a brow, "I'm distracting you?"
You rolled your eyes at him, "Yes, Victor. You are distracting me."
"Any reason as to why?" He asked teasingly.
You sighed, "You're impossible," you muttered, "I could only wonder how your coach must have dealt with you."
"Yakov? I've been nothing but the perfect student to him~"
Yeah right.
Sure, Victor's routines were virtually flawless. His performance always renders audience awe stricken.
But you've also seen his coach on television. And you were pretty sure that those wrinkles and frown lines didn't just happened over night. Not to mention that balding spot on his head...
