Travelling was great but its the arduous process that you weren't so thrilled about.
Fortunately for you, you had Yuri and Victor to figure all that out. They had managed every little detail for your trip to Beijing. They did give you some odd looks wondering why you weren't doing anything to help them to which you easily replied, "I am helping, I'm giving you guys moral support to get the job done right."
They just let you be knowing that you couldn't be bothered to help them. They'll just have to figure out how to make you pay for it later...of course, you didn't know that.
You and Yuri were actually pretty excited for this trip. This would be a first in a long time for the both of you. It has been quite a while since you left the country to participate in an international competition...that and you also needed an excuse to go sight seeing as soon as you are able. Maybe you could ask Yuri to take you around the unfamiliar city and then get lost never to find a way home again...
Okay nevermind.
Departing from Yu-topia was a really short but sweet affair. You all gave your goodbyes with Minako promising that she would follow as soon as she could to watch you both perform (this time she promises to bring a (Y/N) banner for when you perform...much to her reluctance to make you one. You feel so loved).
Victor kept on smooshing Maccachin's face fondly, telling her to behave, to not steal any steamed buns and such. You found the scene to be cute. It's not like Maccachin would get into any trouble when you were all away. She knows better than that.
You eyed Yuri who was getting rather antsy at how long this whole thing was taking, "Victor, we're going to miss our flight if we don't get moving."
You leaned closer to Yuri's side and swatted him lightly, "Shhh! We've got time to spare. Can't you see they're having a moment?"
He rolled his eyes and groaned. You snorted. Yuri was such a worrywart.
Victor gave Maccachin one last hug before finally picking up his luggage and headed out.
The trip to the airport was rather uneventful (if you didn't count having to stop over a nearby convenience store because Victor wanted to buy something real quick...much to Yuri's dismay and your amusement). Much to Yuri's surprise, the three of you didn't miss your flight and managed to find your seats no problem.
Scratch that, there was a bit of a problem.
Yuri and Victor sat beside each other near the plane window. You were also seated by the window but you were situated right in front of them. You wanted to sit beside Yuri not some steely gazed businessman (at least you assumed he was a businessman).
You turned, knelt on your seat and gave Victor a pointed look, "Swap seats with me," you said in a hushed tone.
He raised a brow at your request and just smiled, "Why should I?"
You eyed him incredulously, "Because I asked you to?"
"You didn't ask nicely~" he chimed.
You rubbed your temples, "Victor, would you please switch places with me?"
He hummed in thought, placing a hand under his chin for good measure. Just when you thought that he was going to comply, he shook his head, "No."
Yuri, who was busy looking out the window, finally took notice of what's going on with his other travel companions.
You wanted to bang your head against a wall, "Why not?"
"I do not see anything wrong with where you are sitting," he said, "There is really no reason as to why I should switch seats with you."
"Quit being difficult and please," you stressed the 'please' even more this time, "Just switch places with me."
"Are you ordering your coach?" Victor asked playfully.
"I said please!"
"But I've already settled in. I'm rather comfortable here."
Yuri could see the imaginary sparks shooting out from your eyes while Victor was just calmly smiling as your temper was about to spike.
"I want to sit there," you pouted as you slumped down a bit.
Trying to diffuse the situation, Yuri added his own two cents, "If you want, we could swap seats, (Y/N)."
You sighed, "Never mind..." Defeated, you got back to your seat reluctantly before a flight attendant scolds you or the grumpy looking business man kills you with his stare for all the trouble you were causing. You glared back and then folded your arms across your chest like a belligerent child.
You could see it now, Victor was doing a little happy dance in his head because not only did he get to keep his seat but also win an argument with you.
You had to endure at least six painful hours not sitting beside your piggy chan all thanks to a certain dumb Russian coach. Yuri seemed unaffected by it all, ignorant to your plight.
You huffed.
Victor may have won the battle but he hasn't won the war.
"Ladies and gentlemen before we could take off, we need all passengers to be seated with your seat belts securely fastened. Thank you."
A wicked smirk graced your lips.
You were not beyond payback. More often than not, karma is delayed so you have little to worry about there.
Victor should know by now that he should never mess around with you on things that mattered. Sitting beside your piggy-chan is something that matters a lot to you.
You sat quietly, biding your time even as the plane took off the runway.
You had to endure at least an hour of Victor's musings about it being too cramped or some other trivial matter.
Well sorry for not being able to afford luxurious things like you.
Finally, after four hours into the flight, both Yuri and Victor were fast asleep. The silverette was leaning against the dark haired skater with a blanket covering the both of them. You would have admitted it was kind of cute. Victor even had a bit of drool on his lip.
You had a lot of time to put your plan in motion.
Perfect.
You would not let this matter slide. You would make sure that Victor would remember this day as the day that he had dared to defy you.
You never really were one to do the whole, 'keep calm and carry on' thing. You were more of a 'keep calm and quietly, stealthily, chillingly, plot my revenge' sort of person.
You turned to your business man seat mate who was busy writing down notes and lightly tapped on his arm and raised a brow.
You smiled as sweetly as you could, "Is that marker in your pencil case permanent?"

I really do not want to end this story. I figured that I have to finish what I started. After nearly a whole week... I finally got this done. I'm slowly trying to reignite my love for this story.
Thank you guys :)
