There was only so much one could do in a day. There was so much to do with so little time.

With both you and Yuri having made your song selections for your respective free skate programs, everything became rather hectic. The two of you had to crunch more hours during practice. Spending more and more time in the rink than anywhere else.

The following days consisted of getting up, getting ready, eating some breakfast, a morning run then heading straight to Ice Castle right after.

The three of you were at the rink once again, having just finished your morning practice. You were sitting on the ground with your thermos in hand, sipping on some nice hot chocolate.

"We could go for a bit more impact," Victor said, reviewing the jump composition he had made for Yuri in his notepad, "Why don't we make the last jump a quadruple toe loop?"

Yuri leant against the rink's skirting, "Really? A quad for the last jump?" His tone was inquisitive.

Victor nodded, "I think someone with your stamina should be able to pull it off...unless you're not up for it..." He trailed off.

Yuri's eyes shone with determination, "I'll do it!"

You raised a brow and drew the thermos away from your lips, "Are you sure, Yuri? At the very end of the program?"

He nodded, unwavering, "I know I can do it."

You smiled and took another sip of your hot beverage. You were proud of him. He wasn't shaken by the challenge.

"Good, that is what I was hoping you would say," he zipped off his jacket and looked at the two of you expectantly, "Oh yeah, before I forget, have the two of you already thought of a theme for this season?"

You raised your hands up and shook your head, "Don't look at me," you pointed to your dark haired boyfriend, "Ask him first."

He gaped at you, he couldn't form coherent words, "W-why me?"

You smirked, "I wouldn't tell mine if you didn't tell me yours first, remember?"

His shoulders sagged and his head slumped down in defeat, "Oh yeah...I forgot about that..."

"Well?" Victor asked again.

Yuri sighed, "Yeah...I did."

"So, what is it?"

Yuri had thought about his theme for this season ever since Victor had told him that he would be in charge of producing his own free program. It was something that had been keeping him awake for the past few restless nights.

Ever since Detroit, he had Celestino pick out his musical themes and it was admittedly hard to break from habit.

He wondered if Victor would approve.

He wondered if you would approve.

The thing that concerned him the most was whether or not he was making the right decision. He never really was that confident in the choices he made so he was usually unsure.

But for some odd reason, he never had felt more sure than he did today and he wanted to take advantage of that fact.

He took a deep breath, his cheeks were flushed red, "I've decided that my theme for this year would be...would be 'On my love'!"

Silence ensued.

You nearly dropped your canteen, it's contents were threatening to spill.

He tensed up. This was what he was fearing. That the two of you would-

"I think that's a perfect choice," Victor praised, a small smile formed on his lips, "well done!"

You on the other hand, were stunned. Too stunned to speak.

The tables have turned.

Yuri couldn't help the smile that threatened to break out on his lips. Euphoria and relief was a welcome mix of emotions but it wasn't over just yet.

One down.

He shyly watched you, waiting for your response. Would you react violently? Would you give him a lukewarm response or what?

The suspense was killing him and you were just sitting there, eyes wide and still unable to speak.

You blinked, trying to snap yourself back to reality.

"What...do you think, (Y/N)?"

"What do I think?" You stood up, strode towards him and placed your thermos down on the table Victor had set up for the speaker, you leaned closer to Yuri, bare a hair's width away from each other, "I think...it's perfect."

Yuri practically glowed with joy when you said that.

You couldn't help yourself. He was far too precious. You hugged him tightly which caught him by surprise, nearly sending him stumbling backwards.

He hugged back, "Now that I told you mine, would you tell me yours?"

With that you pulled away and gave him a coy smile, "Tell you what?"

He blinked owlishly, "Your theme for this season? You promised me you would."

You nonchalantly waved him off, "Did I, now? Silly me, my memory fails me sometimes you know?"

He gave you a blank look, "(Y/N)..."

Victor let out a light chuckle, "Wouldn't you tell us? I am curious as to what you picked."

You folded your arms, the mischievous glint in your eyes remained, "What would you do if I told you that I changed my mind?"

"(Y/N), quit being unfair," Yuri pouted, whining a bit, "I already told you mine. It's only fair that you share yours."

Victor raised a brow and gave you a knowing smile, "Yuri's got a point, (Y/N). It's only fair."

It was your turn to puff your cheeks out and pout.

You felt like a child, being cornered by the two of them, "Speak for yourself, Victor. Whose side are you on anyway?"

He shrugged good naturedly and you turned your gaze to Yuri.

You got your canteen again and opened it, chugging down it's contents. Once you were done, you wiped your mouth with your gloved hand.

"Why do you two want to know so badly anyway?"

"Just answer!" The two of them answered in tandem.

"Okay, okay" you rubbed the back of your neck sheepishly, looking away, "Just don't laugh okay...I know it might sound really stupid..."

The two of them waited expectantly for you to answer.

Like Yuri, you were unsure.

It wasn't because you didn't trust your decision but because you were not fond of the possible questions that might be raised when you tell them.

Yuri just gave you a small reassuring smile.

You felt a bit better now.

You sighed.

You figured it would be alright.

You faced them with a small smile on your face. Throwing caution to the wind, you answered.

"My theme would be 'Courage'."
