I was just rereading this chapter and thought... "wow I must have hated my mother at the time I wrote this cuz I made this mom evil." So I went back and fixed it a little. Not much just softened the mom a bit 😅

"What the fuck do you think your doing?" Alpha Casey growled at me. He was only eighteen but his parents died last year so he was named alpha prematurely. This was the first time seeing him since the funeral. He looked a lot older all of a sudden.

I looked up at him confused. "Umm.. playing with Steven?"

He growled. "Get. Lost. Steven."

My friend Steven looked at the Alpha equally confused. What was going on? Why was he mad?

"I SAID LEAVE!" Alpha growled. He was practically half wolf at this point. Why was he so tensed?

Steven gave me a look but seeing as I couldn't help much, stepped back. "Ok Alpha."

"That wasn't nice Alpha. My mommy said everyone should be nice to each other." I informed him. I knew he was the leader and we had to do what he said but he was just being a bully.

He glared down at me. I flinched under his stare.

"Well Tyler, I don't listen to your mommy." He growled. I whimpered and backed up a step.

Big mistake and I didn't know why, I was submitting like a good pup... but suddenly I was being back handed.

My mommy who had been in the other side of the playground talking to Steven's mom came running over. I was a bit disoriented from the smack as she lifted me off the ground but I saw Steven's concerned face as he held his mother's hand.

"Tyty! What happened? Alpha did my son do something wrong? Tyler Tyree Great! What did you do?" My mommy scolded.

"I-I didn't do anything!" I wailed running towards mommy for comfort.

Instead of hugging me to make it better I was ignored as she faced the Alpha. She looked at the large mail nervously. The adults all tip toed around the alpha, especially the weaker ones.

"I'm so sorry alpha whatever he did it won't happen again." She quickly promised alpha Casey.

"I didnt do any thing mama!" I shouted, now outraged that she would assume I was at fault. I didn't! I was being good.

The Alpha glared down at me forcing me to submit under his gaze. "Don't worry Mrs. Great it's nothing."

He then stomped off leaving me to face my mother.

"Tyty what did you do?" She questioned. Why would the alpha punish me for nothing?

"I didn't do anything mommy I swear! I was just playing with Steven when all of a sudden Alpha Casey walked up and told Steven to leave. I told Alpha Casey that making Steven leave wasn't very nice. I told him that you said everyone should be nice. Then he hit me." I sobbed out my story.

My mom looked at me concerned and then watched alpha Casey walk away. She looked back at me and sighed."Are you going to tell me what you did or not?"

"I didn't do anything!" I sobbed.

"Why would the alpha hit a child?" She marched me back into the pack house to our families apartment.

We passed the Alpha on the way up but he didn't even look at us.

"Alpha! Tell her I didn't do anything!" I begged.

He just glared at me and walked away. Maybe I did do something?

Suddenly things changed and I didn't know why. The Alpha paid more attention to me than usual. He was always punishing me. He would see me playing with someone or just watching tv with a bunch of kids and he would order me out of the room or tell the other pups to go away.
