I held my son to my chest for a moment longer before handing him over to one of the pack females. He was so perfect just like my mate.
I hadn't been away from him for five minutes but I already wanted to be back with him. Too bad life doesn't work the way you want it to.
I would never be seeing my mate again.
The elders gave me three nights with him. The fourth night I bought after a month of begging. I felt bad about taking the child but had no choice. He was the only part of my mate I would ever be aloud to keep. He was also my hier. The only one I would ever have since my mate was human.
"Alpha, why don't you spend some time with your pup? What is his name? He's so cute." The female I handed him to gushed.
"His name is Romeo. Be very careful with him he will be your next Alpha."
She nodded solumly before handing him up to me. I looked down at his peaceful face. He was fast asleep after our run from the hospital.
I leaned down and using my alpha tone whispered to him. "Shift."
He popped out of human form and their was now a helpless pup in my arms.
