Adam and Even

"Mom, dad, don't get pissed right away..." I began to tell my parents the news I had been dreading to tell them for weeks now.

"What is it?" My father asked already narrowing his eyes.

"I'm pregnant!" I blurted out before I could back out.

His eyes narrowed further. "If you add on that you found your mate and that's why your pregnant maybe I won't get too angry."

My mother looked at me hopefully. I bit my lips not sure what I should do. Lie or tell the truth. No I couldn't lie I had to be honest.

"Well I did find my mate..." I explained.

"But?" My father questioned hearing the but coming.

"... but it was after I got knocked up." I mumbled.

"So he rejected you for being a whore and not waiting for him right?" My father was super pissed to be throwing that word around.

Sure he didn't tolerate my dateing but he had never called me names before.

"No! Well he was pissed but he is fine with raising his brothers pups as his own." I told them.

They looked at me shocked.

"His brothers pups?" They both questioned in unison.

"Well as you know I was dateing Aiden Powell. His older brother was studying medicine abroad these past four years. He came back home yesturday and we ran into each other on my way out of Aiden's room. Aiden and I came clean about everything to him. He just nodded and told me I was never to be alone with his brother again. As for the pups he would take them as his own and they are never to know who their real father is. This was the deal I made  in exchange for not being rejected. I knew that would hurt you guys the most." I looked down at my interlaced fingers as tears brimmed my eyes.

Sure I automatically loved and adored  Adam but his brother was the father of the pups. I felt terrible that he would never get to know them. Aiden hadn't put up much of a fight though. When I had told him I was pregnant that day he panicked.

"I'm only in highschool I can't drop everything to raise pups..."

That hurt me but when I had rushed out of his room in tears and ran into his older more capable brother all my problems dissapeard. I guess I would take a stress free life over Aiden knowing his pups any day.

"Have you mated with your real mate yet?" My mother suddenly asked.

"No. He wants to get to know me first." I blushed thinking about our upcoming date.

My mother smiled. "See sweety, isn't  being with your mate so much more fulfilling than sleeping around?"

I hated that she had to use that word, like I didn't date the guys I slept with, but she was right. I did feel more excited about my date with Adam than I ever did with Aiden or any of my other boyfriends.

"Yeah, I wish I had saved myself for him."
