"Avery do you take Lina as your True mate forever more?" My father asked looking at me with sad eyes.
I heard a small whimper and soft sob behind me. I ignore it and looked at my father. "I do."
"Fen, please hand Avery the ring." Father prompted.
I turned to my best man for the ring. Tears fell continuously as he looked at me pleadingly. I didn't speak just held out my hand for the ring. He let out another sob as he dropped it into my hand.
I turned back to Lina. She looked angrily at me but I ignored it as I slipped the ring onto her hand.
