I think by now everyone of you knew that I love reading. I could go on and on about how reading afforded me to go to different places, meet new and interesting people and learn something new about life etc etc etc

But the thing is, I don't limit myself to just reading books, I also read manga. Now manga, for those who doesn't know are stories or novels with pictures on it. Can you picture that? I know, lame joke. (Give me a moment to smack my own head)

Me: (smacking my own head) Ah! Okay that hurts...

Back to business. So manga, I read them too. What kind of manga do I read? Well, that's where the fudanshi in me comes in. Fudanshi, for those again who has no idea, is a Japanese word meant for a male who are quite familiar and interested in anything to do about homosexuality. I learned that word when I shot the CA web series with Wang Qing.

The cast and crew all agreed that among us, I am the fudanshi of the group. I didn't meant for it to happen you know. Curious that I am, I started having interest in homosexuality because I am portraying a guy who happens to fall for another guy. Who would have thought that it will happen in real life? Not me cause I don't have the power to see the future. And if I am given a chance to have superpower, I won't choose being a clairvoyant.

Anyway, I am digressing from the topic a bit so let me just take myself back on track. I read manga, and I read yaoi.

Do I also have to explain "yaoi" to all of you? No? Oh good cause even if you said yes I will not. Wang Qing once told me that I should stop trying to explain myself too much as I have the tendency to babble about nonsensical things and...

Oh I am doing it again right? Darn it!

(Clearing throat)

I read yaoi and just last week I stumbled upon this story that really spoke to me. It's about this guy who fell for his straight friend, and that straight friend is about to get married. It has a bit of fantasy going for it because the lead (the gay guy. Gosh I should just give you names but I'm not sure that if I do that no one will sue me.) How about we just invent a name for our two main characters, that's better right? Okay let me do that.

Let's call our main lead Wei and his straight friend Bo (bear with me please as I am under a LOT of pressure here, okay?)

So Wei is secretly in love with his friend Bo and Bo is about to get married. One night, Wei had a strange dream. In his dream he saw Bo's wedding, from the preparation, to their bachelor party until the main event which is the wedding itself. But on that day, his friend, the man he is secretly in love with, die. That's if Bo push through with the marriage.

Wei saw with his own two eyes how Bo was shot and slowly died while bathing in his own blood. Then Wei woke up, shaking and sweating. He knew it was just a dream but it affected him so much. But still it was just a dream so he tried forgetting it. After all, in two weeks time, Bo will get married.

So Wei didn't put too much meaning in that dream until he notices that everything that happened on it is slowly playing out right before his eyes, while he is awake. All the preparations being made, he already saw it in his dream. At first, he still had his doubt until one by one, scenes from his dream came to life.

That's when he realizes that maybe, maybe that dream is not really a dream but a warning for him. A warning that if Bo married his fiancee, he will die. And Wei can't let that happen. He WON'T let it happen. So he did the first thing that pop into his mind, he went to Bo and told his friend about his dream.

Naturally, Bo laughed at him. But Wei is now convinced more that ever that everything on his dream will really happen and he is scared. He talked and talked, convincing Bo that his dream is real and a kind of weird premonition. He talked and talked until Bo got tired of hearing about it and got angry. And they had words...
