Hey, I am sports. I lost the game so I did push ups right there and then and let Qing put everything in video.

After the push ups, Qing hugged me.

Qing: (whispering in my ear) It's okay, love. You did great. For a first timer, it's not bad.

Me: (glimpsing hope) You will not impose our bet?

Qing: (gently wiping the sweat on my temple) I love you. Of course...no. The bet is still on.

I pushed him away as Qing laughed merrily. He received high fives from our friends. Joi and Yao pats my shoulder, saying they are proud of me.

We stayed in that covered court for one more hour as we cool down and talk. Just stories to update our friends of what is happening to us.

After cooling down, we gathered our things and said our farewells to badminton for now. Qing and I hopped back on his SUV and we drove around to find a place to order take out for lunch.

Qing: (as he drive the car expertly) What do you want to eat?

Me: (pouting) I don't know. I am not thinking.

Qing: (chuckling) The bet is still not on. Say, since you showed sportmanship in that court, I will buy any food you want. No limit.

Me: (perking up) (it's a promise of food delight so I perked up) Really? Anything I want?

Qing: (nodding) Anything you want.

Me: I want barbequed baby backribs, yang chow rice, seafood salad, tempura, nachos, choco milkshake, banana muffins and one basket of strawberries...

Qing: (smiling) I see. Someone is hungry.

Me: For lunch, I want roasted chicken...

Qing: (smile melting) Wait! Wait! For lunch? Isn't the first list you said is for lunch?

Me: That's for late breakfast. There's still time for breakfast, right? It's only 10:30 am.

Qing: But we already had breakfast before we left the condo.

Me: And we played badminton. A form of exercise that burned all the fats in my body and took all my energy. Plus I lost, so I am extra depress.

Qing: So you want another breakfast?

Me: I earned it.

Qing: No. Love...that's not how that works.

Me: (bland tone) I see. The promise of food has a condition.

Qing: (stunned) No. It has no condition. I just thought you are already thinking of lunch.

Me: Well now you know I want more breakfast. What will you do?

Qing answered that by stopping by a cafe and buying me three banana muffins and choco milkshake. He got fruits and scones and coffee for himself.

He stopped in a parking lot close to a public park so we can eat.

Me: (biting into the freshly baked muffin) I want baby backribs and rice though.
