Dramas and Crazies

I am back in Shenzhen for the filming of Chen Yang. Busy in the day shooting scenes. The actors and production crews are on the roll and we have gained the necessary momentum so the work is between intense acting and goofing around when the camera is not rolling.

What audience didn't see is when the camera is not rolling, the people in front and behind the camera are staging different scenes too. While we are working, we establish bonds, get to know people, see connections. It was such an experience to shoot a drama.

Entertainment business is a big and small world. Big in the sense that you can be whoever your role tells you to be. And be in any place the story is taking you.

You can be a doctor, businessman, alien, a sick person, the president. A King, a saint, a famous actor...etc etc.

You can be in modern times, ancient times, time when your parents were born, the future, the sky, in a different planet. Shoot under water.

Anything is possible really, when it comes to dramas and movies.

But the entertainment world is small in the sense that the people you are working with in the past, you can encounter and work with them again in another project.

So it's important that you're nice and make sure you are easy to work with. Reputation is the key. Having a positive reputation is a big advantage in the entertainment business. Directors will want you in their projects if you are easy to direct or manage. Producers will give you another project if they see potential in you.

This world is small. It will be in your advantage to make connections and build a good reputation for yourself.

So I always try to get along with people. But like what other people said, you cannot please everybody. The best thing you can do is be polite and be consistent in your approach to people. Be respectful to all and show your real self. At least the good side.

Everyone has a bad side. I have a bad side. I will admit that. If I am always good, Qing's life will be boring and that will be unrealistic. What I do is that I show people my better and more patient version of me. I am not lying, I am just being polite. Showing respect and being considerate to others is still in the polite category, right?

Anyways, that's all in the work side. I am busy shooting. That's that.

Let's go to another topic.

I was browsing on my social media when I saw this interesting post by someone. It says "Zodiac signs that can put up with your shit".

I am like...what?

And of course I look for my sign, which is Virgo and I laughed out loud when I saw the sign written beside it.

Apparently, the sign that can take all Virgo craps is Pieces.

Yes. You read it right. And if that is not a sign, I don't know what. That's the bomb!

Pieces can take Virgo's bullshits? What?

Qing is a Pieces so...

I don't know if I should laugh or be offended but since I am a positive person so I go for the positive reaction and I laughed.
