Three days before my actual birthday, my parents came to Beijing to have dinner with me and Qing and Qing's parents.

It's just a simple dinner but it really warmed my heart. I have a party on the day of my birthday so Qing and I decided to celebrate it with our parents some days before my actual birthday.

So after rehearsing for my productions on that special day, I raced home to shower and dressed up to have this dinner with my lover and our parents.

Qing reserved a private booth in a restaurant. All night, we talked, laughed and ate together. Ate tasty food. Drank wine and champagne. Made toasts for me and they said their heartfelt wishes for this little squirrel.

I tried not to cry.

Qing's parents and my parents gave me their gifts for me but I decided not to share here what they are. Let me keep some things private.

Of course I thanked my parents. Obviously, without them, I will not be here and celebrating my 25th year on this Earth.

Me: I think more than me, I have to celebrate my parents' hardwork. (Wriggling my brows on them) Thank you, for making me. We will not go into details on how you made me. Let's just all assume that it was a magical night filled with love.

We all laughed at that.

Me: But seriously, thank you Mama and Baba. I am celebrating this life and I am celebrating the two of you. I love you so much. And I will not cry, I'm sorry if I am making you cry, Mama. I love you. Thank you so much.

My parents hugged me tight. Whispering that they love me.

They are the best people. Along with Qing and his family and my friends and my other family, which is my fans.

I am surrounded by such wonderful people, I feel blessed.

After dinner and lots of pictures taken, my parents went home to the Wang's mansion. They will spend the night there before they fly back to Harbin.

Qing and I went back to our love nest and I lovingly stored the gifts I have received tonight in our walk in closet.

Qing: (hugging me from behind) Is everything ready for the big party this Sunday?

I love the fact that he didn't ask this question in front of our parents. It prevented the questions my parents may asked about the party. I loved the relaxed atmosphere we had during dinner.

Me: Yes. It's mostly done, the preparation. Just some finishing touches and we will just wait for the big day to arrive.

Qing: I'm sorry I will not be there to watch you perform those dances you worked hard for to practice. Your fans are very lucky to see you perform them all live.

Me: (turning around to face him and hug him back) You can come tomorrow on my practice and see me dance them. But without the costumes.

Qing: (eyes chinking) Can I?

Me: Sure. But you have to be discreet cause you will distract the back up dancers. If they see you they will...

Qing: (smug) Instantly fall for me?

Me: (mouth falling open) Wow! How did you know? I'm speechless. Your humility...

Qing: I just call it as I see it.

Me: Uhuh...and does that made you feel better about yourself? Are you satisfied now? Why are you so needy? Thinking everyone is attracted to you.
