Family Dinner

Wow! Fourteen already? Imagine that! This is my fourteenth entry on my diary/memoir, and to think that at first I really have no idea as to what the hell I'm doing writing just random stuffs and now I came up to number fourteen?! Go me! (High five everyone!)

Eveyone must be really curious about my vacation with Wang Qing. It's a blast people! It has been the best vacation we've had so far and I am trying to come up with a lot of words to tell you about the adventures we had on that three day getaway.

What I can say now is that Wang Qing is really an amazing guy. I'm so lucky to have him in my life, loving me, teaching me, influencing me, supporting me. He is simply amazing and I am so proud to call him my man.

He really do possess a giving heart, most of all to those who are in needs and I personally witnessed how that giving heart works in the place we visited. With the people he helped. I witnessed how he can make people happy. The smiles he generously flashed on his lips and the helping hands that he had no hesitation whatsoever to lend to people. I know you are all tired of hearing this from me but let me just say it one more time: He is amazing...

Now, putting our vacation aside, what should we talk about? I've been busy this past months because I have dramas lined up to be shown and I'm working on the next song I will release. Wang Qing is also busy "eating out the universe". Work is in normal mode. As an entertainer, being busy means very good for us.

On the personal front, everything is normal too. After the vacation we go back to our routine, working then going home to each other. We have stack of dvds of movies that we haven't seen to watch but that can wait. I developed an interest on a musical playing right now so I need to check if I can buy a ticket for that and to clear my schedule of course.

What else? Oh, we had dinner with Qing's family two weeks ago because an uncle of him visited Qing's dad. His uncle brought with him his wife and their only son, Qing's cousin is older than him and they are all "characters" let me tell you. (Maybe there's something in the Wang blood IDK) And like every Wang I knew, Qing's uncle, aunt and cousin are all good looking too. They look expensive, stylish and in Qing's cousin's case, debonair.

Of course Qing's uncle and his family are aware about me and his nephew's relationship. I think he was okay with that cause he never gave us any weird look during dinner. But Qing's aunt is a different matter altogether. She kept giving me sidelooks that I of course ignore but Qing ah can't.

Qing: (addressing his aunt) Auntie, do you find something offensive on Dayu and you keep looking at him?

Me: (embarrassed) Qing ah...

Auntie: Nothing offensive nephew of mine. I just think he's a bit too ordinary for you...

I stifled a gasp. Ordinary?! Me?!

Qing's mom: Dayu is not ordinary. He is a lovely young man (Have I ever said how much I love Qing's mother? Well I freaking love her!)

Auntie: Oh I also think he is a lovely man. I...I just thought that if Qing finally brought someone home to introduce to us he will be...I guess, more...

More?! What does she mean by "more"? I think I'm fine, if not perfect. I have a pair of eyes, ears, hands and feet. I have ten fingers and toes that I nip and clean regularly. What "more" does she mean? Do you have to have eleven fingers to be "enough" for Wang Qing? I don't think so?! I don't think Wang Qing will demand his lover to have eleven fingers (no offense to people with eleven fingers of course. I know you are all lovely too) But really? More?

Ohhhh my inner "diva" wants to come out and play. I pacify that monster inside me. (Down bitch down!)

Uncle: Wife, please, the kids might take offense...
