It's Thursday and Qing will leave again for Shanghai tomorrow. But for two days now, he had been home with me.

Him and his two dogs.

Yup. Kuai ang Kuangnu are with us. Without any choice because Qing's parents are taking a trip with Qing's brother in law's family now. The mauseleom is closed and everybody will be back this weekend.

But for now...Qing is having fun with his two dogs.

Me...oh...I...*sigh*

I just let them do whatever they want. I think I am finally learning some invaluable lesson when it comes to my lover and his two dogs.

Life will be a lot easier if I would just let them do whatever they want. That is applicable to both boyfriend and dogs.

But this afternoon, I felt a little off. I was in our room, sitting on the bed with my laptop and tapping away at the keyboard, with earbuds on my ears listening to music when I felt it. Oddness in the air.

I stopped tapping on the keyboard, turned off the music and took off the earbuds on my ears.

Quiet. The unit is quiet.

Which is nothing extra ordinary but I remembered that I am currently occupying the unit together with Qing and his two dogs.

It's not suppose to be this quiet in a place if Kuai and Kuangnu are around.

Strange.

I moved the laptop from my lap to the bed and I slid to get off it and stand up.

I went out of the room. I still didn't hear any sound so I walked to the living room where Qing usually play with his dogs.

I saw a clean living room and a sleeping Qing on the couch. But no dogs.

O----kay? Where are Kuai and Kuangnu?

That's when I heard a loud crash and jars breaking.

My heartbeat stopped.

My pantry!

I shouted Qing's name and that woke him up. He saw me running to the kitchen and I was stopped on my track as I saw the pantry door opened and from the inside, two Golden Retriever tails peeked.

Qing: (stopping behind me) Oh no!

Oh no indeed!

My pantry...it's destroyed.

Qing: KUAI! KUANGNU!

The two dogs heard their master calling so they went out of the pantry with their tails wagging. When they left, I saw the damage they have done to my food storage room.

To my once beautifully organized pantry.

Now it's like a hurricane visited it. The jars of pickles, mayonaise and jam preserves are all broken on the floor. Mixed with the bags of flour and rice. The bottles of soy sauce, oil, vinegars and other liquid seasonings are toppled down. My canned goods are jumbled around and the plastic containers holding my spices are also on the floor.

All because Kuai and Kuangnu reached for the containers of cereals in the third rack of the cabinet. Now all my cereals are sprinkled on the floor too.

I feel like fainting. I literally swayed on my feet and Qing had to catch me before I fall on the kitchen floor.

Qing: (worried) Dayu ah...
