How to be a wonderful boyfriend?

Easy...

When your boyfriend's call time at work is 6am and he have to leave the house at 5am, you wake up at 4am. Push him off the bed so he can take his shower while you get up to find him something to eat.

Yes! You will haul your ass off that nice comfy bed. Zombie walk to the kitchen and open that fridge, take some stuff off to make a smoothie (today's smoothie will have lots of berries, a banana, kiwi and coconut water. A guaranteed energy booster drink) Then you make a simple sandwich plus pack some bottled water he can take and eat while on the road.

You would endure your boyfriend hugging you while he is still a bit wet from his shower, wearing only a towel wrap on his hips. You will let him rub his body to yours, kiss the side of your neck, up to your ear. Let him bit your earlobe, put it inside his mouth, letting his warm breath tickle you. All the while feeling his arousal poking your back.

But you are a wonderful boyfriend so you will push his face away. Shove the smoothie under his nose. Order him to drink it fast cause it is 4:20 am already and he had to get dressed.

While your boyfriend is getting dress, you will inspect his things to see if they are complete and he will not forget something important. Then you will carry his bag, wait for him in the foyer by the door.

As the wonderful boyfriend, you will let your man tilt your head back and kiss you. Let him plunder your mouth, open it willingly to let his tongue in, let him chase the taste of the berries you sneak in there while making his smoothie. Then you will return the favor. Kiss him back and explore the clean taste of mouthwash on his mouth.

You will let him haul your body closer to his. Let your bodies create some delicious friction as you rub at each other like cats in mating heat (we should have woke up thirty minutes earlier, we so need some morning sex). But you will halt (you are the wonderful sensible boyfriend after all, and Qing is the tease slut) smoothing your hand on the front of his shirt while saying...

Me: (sighing regretfully) You can't come to work looking crumpled. Go now.

But you will let him snatch a last hug. Let him kiss your temple, whisper silly chessy things against your skin. Things like...

Qing: Thank you for waking up early for me. I love you, love you, love you so much. Do I really have to go to work?

Me: (pushing him away then tiptoeing to give him one last smack on the lips) Go now. Be careful.

You will open that door, shove him outside then slowly close it, smiling at his pouty face while he put his bag on his shoulder.

There...duty done. You are now a candidate for the "Wonderful Boyfriend of the Year" award.

After Qing left for work I decided to come back to our bed. I plop there and sleep some more. I have a scheduled practice at 8am. I can still steal a two hour sleep. And I did, fell asleep again.

I was just kidding you know...

I don't need any award for doing what I can for Qing. I don't need any recognition. All I need is Qing's appreciation. The fact that he is grateful for everything I do for him (small or big) is more than enough for me to continue to serve him in anyway I can.

Besides, he does the same for me. If you think I take care of him, oh you should see him serve me when I came home tired from work. One time he even gave me a foot massage. Not as good as what I get from professionals of course but that is so sweet, right?

I think if we love someone, it's only natural that we want to do things to make their life a little more easy and comfortable. Doesn't matter if you are doing it for lover, your parents, siblings or friends. If you love someone in any capacity, you want them comfortable at all times. Not having hardships at all.

What I do for Qing, taking care of him, I think that's the simplest and easiest way I can show how much he means to me. Sometimes, I am scared of how much I can push myself, how much I am willing to give, to make him happy.

Taking a bullet for him? Facing everyone's disapproval of our relationship? Abandoning my dream of being a singer and an actor? Leaving everything behind just to be with him? Can I do all that?

And if someone tries to take him away from me...I sometimes ask myself...what could I possibly do to that person who will try to take Qing's love away from me. (The answers varies and sometimes got me scared too)

We don't know what we are capable of when it comes to protecting he people we love. Is there really a limit with love? I don't think so...and there are times I pray that something like that won't happen to me, cause I really don't want to know how far I can go to protect what I have with Qing.

Oh oh...overthinking again. Better stop before I think of something more morbid or more shocking. To sum it up, we do things for our loved ones willingly and without regrets because seeing them happy makes us happy too.
