Job Done

It's done! Done done done!

Finally, all the recordings for my new songs to be released is done. I just have to wait for the final products after the arrangers and the producer are done working on it. But the singing parts are all done.

Being a singer is something you have to be passionate about. You have to be disciplined (no drinking or eating too cold or too hot food and drinks so we can protect your voice Dayu). You have to work hard (listen well to your voice coaches Dayu) and you have to have a heart for it (if I can just touch one soul with my music, that would be enough for me)

It's a hard profession but really rewarding. I still remember the first time I heard the single Qing and I recorded. Ah, it felt like my heart was thumping so hard inside my chest it's like it wanted to come out from my body. My heart was so excited. It was an exhilarating feeling.

And that feeling doesn't change. Every time I will record a song that I know will be released, my heart is jumping for joy. Knowing that people will get to listen to it, to my voice, it's surreal man.

It's a big deal for that young boy that dreamed of becoming a singer one day. And that dream came true and that boy got more dreams and I am doing everything to make all those new dreams come true.

I am excited. So giddy in happiness. Of course I still have to wait for the whole album to be finished, may take months, but the fact that it will be release one day, wow man...just wow.

Of course Qing got the news straight from me. I got a hug and a kiss and a "good job my Little Squirrel" from him. He wants to treat me for working hard but I think having an album is enough reward for me.

He is hinting of wanting to take a vacation again, just the two of us. But I shot down that idea fast (I am a grinch to his Christmas) cause we are both still busy. He is filming a movie and the cameras for the drama I'm in are rolling too.

But I do miss having time for just the two of us. A vacation sounds heavenly. But everything has a time and now is the time to work.

That's one project down for me. I feel accomplished. It's a nice feeling...
