Chapter 37
Tama's POV
I'm just making Maui and I some dinner when he comes walking into the hut we now share. I notice that he seems to be okay, which makes me feel content. "I take it everything went well?" Maui nods with a smile. "Everything is okay. Moana forgives me and is moving on. She's planning on becoming closer with Loi. I realize that I lashed out in jealously, but mainly because I get so protective. I don't want to see anyone hurting the people I love." He walks up to me and wraps his arms around me from behind. "Especially my baby." I giggle like a silly schoolgirl. "And who would that be?" Maui taps my nose. "That would be you my love."
I turn around and wrap my arms around his waist, staring into his eyes deeply with all of the love in the world. "Maui, I really hope you marry me one day because I can't and don't want to ever love anyone else in this world besides you. I know that you're the one for me." Maui pulls me close enough where I can feel his breath trail down the back of my neck. "Oh trust me, I will get down on one knee and ask you to marry me. Though I'm not going to hint at how or when I do so. That's going to be a surprise." I smile at him. "Good." I press my lips onto his. Our kiss starts off gentle but then becomes more passionate and rough. Eventually, the two of us are lying buck naked on our bed having you guessed it, sex. It's been so long we've done it. I've missed this feeling so much. It reminds me not only that I'm alive, but I'm in love with this amazing man who was made for me.
