Tamatoa's POV
Two days later... The Rehearsal Dinner
It's only two days before the wedding so you know what that means... IT'S WEDDING REHEARSAL DINNER TIME. All of us are dressing up tonight, just not in what we plan on wearing to the actual wedding. As Maui said before, we don't want to ruin the surprise. We want to take in the site of each other's looks on our special day for the first time and truly cherish the memory of it all. After all, your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. It only comes second to the day you're born.
Anyways we limited the number of people to invite to the wedding. Our guests are Moana and her parents, Loi, the fishermen, and a few of the shopkeepers. When Maui and I pictured our wedding, we wanted to be surrounded by the people we care about and love. I wouldn't want a hundred random people at our wedding that I barely even know. That'd just be weird and uncomfortable. For our rehearsal dinner we're sampling all sorts of food that we requested plus some new items. I'll probably be so big at the end of the night that Maui and I will have to take turns rolling each other home.
The food that we're eating includes pesto chicken, noodles, salmon, and roast pork. It's an interesting assortment in the form of a buffet style. Everyone gets to go up to a table and take as much of each as they please. While eating, everyone mingles with one another in the hopes of forming new friendships and/or something more. In addition, most of us, Maui and I included, are getting wasted drinking one glass of wine after another.
Later on in the night...
Maui and I are both incredibly drunk and leaning on Mo for support, literally. One of my arms is wrapped around her neck and one of Maui's arms is as well. She helps us get back to our hut in decent time. We slur thank yous and she bows to us playfully on the way out the door. When she's out of ear shot and sight, Maui and I shove our tongues down one another's throats, passionate make out, and have drunken sex.
