The Day And Night Before
Chapter 51
The next day...
Maui's POV
Tama and I are going to be married in just twenty four hours. I'm incredibly excited and nervous for tomorrow to be here. Unfortunately due to silly tradition, it's bad luck for Maui and I to see each other the day before the wedding. I want to see him so badly but Mo tackles me every time I try to go find him. Speaking of Mo, she's balancing her time between him and I. She's spending the day with me and the night with him. I think it's fair plus she can send him messages from me. It works out in the end.
"Mo, I promise that I'm not going to run off anymore. I surrender." I pretend to have a white flag and she giggles. "I, Moana, am just being a good friend and bridesmaid by upholding the tradition of marriage." I roll my eyes at her and grunt. "Mo, will you send him a message from me though?" She nods. "That I can do. What's your message?" I ponder it carefully not wanting to say anything that'll sting Mo. "Can you just tell him that I can't wait for him to take my breath away and that I love him?" Mo gives me a cheeky smile. "Awww, you two are so cute. Almost as cute as Loi and I." I wrap an arm around her. "Speaking of Loi and you, I heard you two doing the deed the other night, literally." I wash Mo's face flush red within seconds. She then starts punching my arm in which I dunk the punches gracefully.
"MAUIIII", she whines. "You're such a stalker." I shake my head while laughing. "It's not my fault I heard you guys making very inappropriate noises. You two just need to either be quieter or tr doing it in another spot." Mo crosses her arms across her chest and huffs in response. Knowing that I've won this battle, I do a victory dance, which causes her to crack a smile and burst into laughter with me.
Moana's POV
That night...
I say good night to Maui, give him a quick hug, and make my way to Tama. I find him alone in his and Maui's hut. "Hey Tama, I'm all yours for the night." He flashes me a toothy grin. "That's just lovely babe. Did Maui say anything about me?" I smile. "He said everything about you, but he told me to give you a special message." He nods, motioning for me to continue. "Maui told me to tell you that he can't wait for you to take his breath away tomorrow and that he loves you." Tama blushes adorably and bites his lip, trying his hardest to keep back a smile. His straight face turns into a wide smile in seconds. "I love that big goof more than he'll ever know. I can't wait to marry him tomorrow. It's going to be the best day of my life without a doubt."
