You Deserve A Little Something Mo

Chapter 79

Moana's POV

I'm honestly so shocked at how well Tama and Maui, especially Maui, reacted to the news of my unexpected pregnancy. I'm so lucky to have them. I know I say it all the time, but besides my parents, they're the only two constant people in my life. They're always there through BOTH the good and the bad. They've done so much for me over the years that the least I can do is give them the one thing they desire most in the world besides each other, a healthy child that will make their lives even better. Unfortunately, they can't conceive a child through sex, but I'm honored to be able to have their child. Maui and Tama are going to be such good fathers. I'm not certain about a lot of things, but I am certain about that.

Maui and Tama went off for a bit to give me time to think. Honestly I'd rather just have them be here because when I'm alone and overthinking, it almost never ends well. I try my best to gather my thoughts as best as I can before wandering through the village to find Tama and Maui. I find them at the farmer's market. I startle both of them slightly with my presence but they're genuinely happy to see me again so soon. They motion for me to follow them back to their hut and I do. When we get there, I sit at a chair at the food of their bed while they jump into bed and dive into their food. The sight of them doing that causes me to giggle uncontrollably. Maui raises an eyebrow at me. "Excuse me princess, how is our hunger funny? Tama and I haven't in TWO HOURS. That is a very long time." Tama fake swoons over the side of the bed and more giggles escapes from my mouth.

Tama ends up falling onto the floor but quickly gets up. I breath a sigh of relief. Thank the lord he's okay. A moment of peaceful silence passes before Tama breaks it. "Listen Mo, Maui and I got you a little something while we were shopping in the village. You've done so much between the wedding and now carrying our child for the next few months. We both love you and you deserve to have this." Tama hands me a small bag. Tears prickle at my eyes. "You guys don't owe me anything, though this is really sweet of you both." Both of them give me a warm smile while blushing slightly. I open the gift carefully. When all of the wrapping paper is gone, I'm face to face with the matching necklace and bracelet set. On the necklace and bracelet are charms to symbolize Maui, Tama, my parents, Gramma Tala, and me. "This the best gift I've ever received. Words can't describe how special and amazing it is." I throw myself at both of them and hug them tighter than ever. "Thank you so much." "You're welcome.", they sing in unison. My love for these two goofballs as only grown more.

Hoped that you guys liked this chapter! I'm sorry for updating so late but I slept through the whole evening because I'm currently feeling like death. The struggles of being both a girl and a Mary. This will be my only update on this fanfic tonight but I have one coming on my original in a bit. :) -Mary
