Chapter 43

Maui's POV

 That evening...

 I spot Tama and Moana goofing around down on the shore and chuckle to myself. It's really nice to see the two of them becoming good friends. It makes my guilt decrease by the day and my heart swell with even more love for the both of them. "Hey my favorite people in the universe. What are you two talking about?" Tama bites his lip in that sexy way that turns me on. "I was just about to ask Moana a question, but I wanted to ask you it first. He comes up to me and whispers it in my ear. I agree to it instantly and motion for Tama to ask her. "Mo, Maui and I were wondering if you both plan the wedding and be our maid of honor." Moana looks from Tama to me and back in shock. "R-Really?" "Really" we say in unison. Mo smiles brightly and throws herself at us with open arms. "I'd love to be both your wedding planner and maid of honor. It means the world that you chose me for both." 

   I move a step closer to her. "Mo, there wasn't any other person we even thought of asking. You're our best friend. We need you active in our wedding in order for it to be truly special." She hugs both of us once more. "Well thank you again. I promise that I'll make your wedding fabulous and SHINY." The mention of the word "shiny" causes Tama to giggle. "Aw babe, you know us so well." Tama realizes that he called her babe and mouths an apology to me. I simply shrug off his slip up and go over to him, wrapping my arms around him from behind, leaning my head on his broad shoulder. "I'm so excited to be marrying you in less than three months time my love." Tama leans his head against mine and closes his eyes. I watch a smile spread across his face. "I'm excited too my love and I know it's going to be a special day, especially since Moana's playing such an active role in it." Mo blushes slightly and we all come together for a group hug because every group of friends have to have one at some point. A group hug with friends is basically a right of passage.
