Wellness Resort pt2

Me: (while sitting on the business class of the airplane with Pau beside me) I thought you will not come?

We need to fly in a plane to get to that wellness resort. It's a three and half hour flight from Beijing southward.

Pau: I came because I am curious.

Me: You are curious about the spa resort?

Pau: (grimacing a little) Sure. I am curious about the resort too.

Me: (suspicious) Okay. What else are you curious about?

Pau: (sighing) I am not really curious. I am just mildy intrigued. Boss said Madam Wang might take this opportunity to introduce a woman to him. You know...matching him.

Ah...this is about Auntie's effort to marry Zhu Gege off. I see...

Me: And you are mildy intrigued to what? Meet the lucky contestant to be Mrs. Wang Zhu...?

Pau: I am not jealous, Dayu. I just want to relax too. Like you said, this is an opportunity to have a free relaxing vacation.

Oh my God. I will feel reassured if he will use a different expression when he said he is not jealous. I think I was just introduced to Pau's resting bitch face.

Goodness.

Me: (suddenlt unease) I don't feel relaxed.

Pau: (patting my hand) You will get there.

What? I...look around. I saw Qing sitting with Zhu Gege and they are talking seriously. Whatever they are talking I have no idea but it looks serious.

It's so serious that when Wang Qing came to switch places with Pau, he immediately put an arm around me.

Me: (burrowing closer to Qing's side) Why? Is there something wrong?

Qing: Nothing.

Me: (twisting my lips) Did you lie just now?

Qing: (sighing) Yes. Just promise me something.

Me: What?

Qing: That you will relax throughout this vacation.

Me: Oh I intend to do that.

Qing: Good. Let's have an enjoyable flight, Love.

I sighed and lean my head on his shoulder. Qing held me securely as the pilot's voice sounded through the intercom saying we are about to depart the airport.

Three and a half hour later, we landed in ZheJiang, just south of Shanghai. An hour of travel by land and we entered into a private piece of land with lots of trees and a streaming river nearby. More traveling and we got into the resort itself.

Me: Wow!

I cannot help but exclaimed at how beautiful the place is. The resort is situated in an oasis type of setting with palm trees, fountain, fonds, bamboo shacks, a wide pool and lounges.

There is a three story hotel like building in the center of the resort but our accomodations is a compound like bungalow style cabins with foliages and shrubs around plus a grassy pathway in the entrance.

The place looks relaxing and you can instantly feel yourself getting in touch with the nature around you. Nothing but trees, blue sky, the sun, fresh breeze and...
