Remember when I lost my couple ring? The one Qing gave to me. If you cannot remember, I will suggest that you reread the first "Secret Love Nest" and the chapters titled "The Lost Ring". It's that story.

Anyways, because we are on the subject of that story, remember that when I lost my ring, Qing was actually the one who found it and my jerk boyfriend decided to teach me a lesson by feigning ignorance about finding it.

It got a little ugly.

So, having said that, you might understand that when I found out that my ring is missing, my first suspect is...Wang Qing.

Anyways, the story goes like this...

One afternoon, after eating lunch alone since Qing is not at home...

So, Qing is not at home. I am alone. When I suddenly remember something.

That something revolves around my couple ring. I want to take it to a jewelry store to get it clean.

Well...a little bit. Because I usually wear it and I frequently wash my hands, watermarks appeared on my ring. I tried cleaning it but last week, Qing's mother and I went shopping together and she dragged me to a jewelry store to pick up her jewels that she took there to get cleaned.

That pricked my interest. I can get my jewelries cleaned in a jewelry store? That's fascinating.

I mean...my jewels are well, but after seeing Mama's newly cleaned earrings, rings and bracelets, I felt envious.

Mama: I know you disinfect your jewelries and you clean them well, Dayu. But having your jewelries cleaned my professionals has benefits. Look, they brought back the luster of my jewelries.

And she was right. Mama's jewelries are shining again. Gold, silver...they are twinkling and shining.

So...brightly.

Right there and then, I decided. I will get our jewelries cleaned up. I will bunched up my earrings, rings and bracelets. Qing's too. To get them professionally cleaned.
