It's the end of May!

Fucking hell it's the end of May already...

Sorry...I think I am getting Qing's bad habit of cursing. He is currently busy keeping in shape, meeting and practicing with his basketball team.

(Oh...Baba's basketball team. We see...)

Yeah...I am over it. So I am not part of their all tough boys team...who cares?! Not me. I have my own things with my own set of friends and we will stop here before I started sounding bitter which I am so not anymore.

No, seriously, I am not bitter about not making it on Qing's basketball team. I am actually cheering for them.

Because apparently there is this tournament thing. I am not sure. Or I simply don't care. I don't know. But yeah...Qing will play with his team again.

And I won't be able to watch. Sigh. What will I do with this cheerleader's uniform and pompoms now? Oh my bleeding heart...

(You have cheerleading uniform and pompoms?)

No. I don't. He he.

(Really mature, Dayu.)

Whatever.

Anyways, that's the news on my lover's side. Personally, I am glad Qing is busy with basketball. Seriously, he should play more basketball. I would love him to stress out about sports...and not money.

Qing: Well, I have to find a new investment venture. I cannot let my money sit on the bank, Dayu.

Me: Why not?

Qing: (giving me an incredulous look) You are kidding, right?

Me: No. I am serious. Why not let your money sit on the bank?

Qing: Oh boy. Because it will not profit there. It will not multiply. A sitting money in a bank is a worthless money, Dayu ah. Money, should multiply, so it will grow.

And I guess that is the difference between a business minded person like
Qing and common folk like me.

Because while Qing wants to invest his money, take risks on business to earn profits, I am happy to let my money sit on the bank.

Qing: Which is wrong. You should invest your money.

Me: I invest my money. You managed my investment.

Qing: (shaking his head) No. You only give me ten percent of your income to invest. You should invest at least a third of your money so you can feel the effect of the profits coming in.

Me: (balking at the idea) I will not gamble a third of my money to risky business.

Qing: If you will not risk something, you won't gain something, Dayu ah.

Me: Yeah...but it's money.

Qing: (sighing) You penny pinching cheapskate.

Me: Hey! I am just not confident in gambling. Unlike you...

Qing: People gambles everyday. Just by going outside from the safety of our home, we are already gambling. With our life. If a person is willing to meet the traffic on the highway head on, that person will find risking money on business easy.

Me: Not true. Business is hard. You have to have business savvy to survive that field. I don't have that.

Qing: (staring at me) What you lack is balls to do business.
