It's only January and things are looking pretty hectic in this part of the planet people.

Hello...how is 2018 treating you all so far? Good?

Okay. Good.

Me...I have the same answer. Yeah, sure, 2018 is shaping up to be a pretty decent year for me.

I have a new baby...

(Oh My God! A baby?! You and Baba made a baby? How is...wait, that is not possible so...OMG! You guys adopted a baby...)

What the hell? You guys...did you just had a meltdown right now?

(Slight. We got it from you...)

Gasp! What do you mean you got it from...I don't have meltdowns...you know what...let's leave that aside because that will be a loooong debate and we have things to do and stories to write. Not to mention we will just embarrass everyone that is involve.

Okay, brace ourselves, let me repeat it again. I have a new baby. But it's not human.

No. Not a plant either. And not an animal too.

An album. I am making a new album.

(OMG! You...Wow! That's exciting news!)

I know! Right?! Yay! Let's all take a moment to savor the reality that I am starting to make an album again. I mean, it hasn't been that long since "Dare to Love", but still, I love singing and I consider myself as a singer so making another album is a proud moment for me.

I am pretty excited.

I mean sure, we are just in the process of selecting songs right now that will be included in the album and I am feeling out those songs in a recording studio to see how they will sound with my voice but this is progress for me. Being in a recording studio is exhilarating for me.

So that is cool. A new album. That is keeping me busy.

What else is happening in my life. Oh! I attended Qing's sister birthday dinner. Contrary to what Qing said, it's not a big shindig. Just a pleasant dinner with Qing's family and JiJi's husband's family.

JiJi's husband's family is a typical normal Chinese family. They have their traditions and values they uphold just like every family in this country. So there...

But JiJi's in laws are quite conservative. They are not outdated as to declare that they don't like same sex relationships or they find me and Qing together being strange but they still have questions.

Questions like: Why? Why be together with another male when there's plenty of women around?

Qing answered that...I succeeded in convincing him to attend his sister's birthday dinner with me and their parents. We had a bit of squabble (me promising him unspeakable pleasure if he attend this dinner with me) but in the end I made him give in.

I am good at convincing people to do my bidding.

(Are you sure about that?)

No. But let me have my illusions people. Anyways, Qing answer JiJi's in law's curiousity about our relationship.
