Over and Done

The next day, Qing left to meet his friends and have a day with them before he will get busy.

I will stay here in Harbin for one more day. I had a night out with Xiao, Meng, Nushi and Lipin. We grilled Xiao to let us meet his date. Xiao just grinned at us.

I let Mama baby me and Baba to give me last minute instructions before I took my flight back to Beijing where, I am not kidding, a car waited for me on the airport to take me staight to Qing's parents' place.

At Qing's parents' mansion, JiJi was the one who welcomed me.

JiJi: (with as smile on her face) You are so done for.

Me: (groaning) I...okay...

JiJi laughed and hug me.

JiJi: Oh you adorable but stupid boy. You just love bringing this to yourself.

Me: (chuckling) I don't know why I am like this.

JiJi: You love attention. Well, now you have all our attentions. Good luck with that. Oh, here comes Mama...

JiJi let me go and step aside as Qing's mother hugged me.

Mama: Oh Dayu ah...are you okay?

Me: (hugging her back) I am Mama, no need to worry. Qing took me to a hospital to get me checked.

Mama: (letting me go to look at my face) Good. No more balcony for you.

And now I know where Qing got that from.

Baba: I already talked to the people who will fix your balcony.

Mama: Can't they take away that balcony?

Me: (whimpering) I love that balcony. Qing and I have memories there.

Mama: Oh...okay...but no more hanging plants in the balcony, Dayu ah. No more plants for you. You have your potted herbs in your kitchen, stick with those.

And now I know where Qing got that from too.

JiJi: Zhu Gege messaged me. He is on his way to see Dayu with his eyes.

Me: Why? Why is he coming here?

Mama: Be thankful that Zhu will be coming alone and not with Auntie or Uncle.

Me: Oh thank God...but wait, where is Auntie and Uncle?

JiJi: In Singapore, there is a business summit there that Uncle was invited too.

Baba: Let's go in and let Dayu rest. Qing will call later to see if Dayu got here safe.

More like he is calling to make sure that I am keeping my promises. He doesn't trust me.

Yeah, I am ugly like this. Still...I think this is nice. Being surrounded with Qing's family is not a bad thing for me really. Well it's because...oh I am getting shy to say this but I think I will say it.
