Polo Game pt1

Polo game is like golf to me. I don't get it. Known as the game of the Kings, I think it's like golf except you are on top of a horse. I swear Qing decided to do this to show off that he is an excellent horseback rider.

ZhiMing: Riding horse is fun.

Yes, ZhiMing is once again here. I invited him...don't raise your hackles now. ZhiMing is Qing's ex and also Zhu gege's once fling...but we will not elaborate on that. He is a cool guy once I get to know him better and he finds me cool too.

ZhiMing: (protesting) When did I find you cool? I think you are cute but cool...wait a minute...

He finds me cool. End of the story.

Anyways, like I said on my last entry, we are in an exclusive country club where horseback riding is an amenities the club provided for their members. The club is own by someone close to Jin's father so we were welcomed and accomodated well by the staffs.

Ah rich people's connections, gotta love it.

Anyways, this is where I will celebrate my twenty sixth birthday with my lover, family and our friends. Well...most of our friends.

Qing: Zhu Gege said sorry he and Pau cannot join us. But Pau's birthday is also coming up so Gege took the opportunity to take him to Singapore.

Me: (in a dry tone) Pau's birthday is on the first week of October.

Qing: Zhu Gege will be busy on October. The beginning of the last quarter of the year is always a busy time for businessmen like him.

Me: Stop making ridiculous excuses for your cousin. Gege is monopolizing Pau. He is trying hard to convince Pau to say yes to him.

Qing: (giving me an exasperated look) You should stop advising Pau to say no to Zhu Gege. What is wrong with them living together?

Zhu Gege is convincing Pau to live with him in his luxurious penthouse. Pau is saying no, not because I influence him but because he is still not sure about shacking together in one place with a Wang.

Pau asked for my advise and I freely gave it to him.

Me: All I said was he should think about it carefully. Living with a Wang is no simple matter.

ZhiMing: He got a point there.

Qing: (frowning at me) Why? Do you regret it now, living with me?

Me: Did I say I have regrets while living with you? All I said was Pau should be careful in making hasty decisions. That is why he is taking his sweet time deciding. Why attack me? It's my birthday...

Xiao: Yeah, you should not be angry at Dayu. We have a rule to let the birthday boy have a pass. You cannot say no to him, be angry at him, blame him on anything or hate him.

Me: Then why did Meng said no to coming here with us. It's my birthday, he is not allowed to say no to me.

Xiao: (shrugging) You know he doesn't know how to ride a horse. Plus Nushi doesn't want to let our godson travel yet.
