I was staggering and swaying as I walked out of our bedroom to the kitchen one late morning.

I haven't had any decent sleep yet.

Qing: (looking worried) You should go back to bed.

Me: (drinking water) I will be fine.

Qing: It was a tough night.

Me: It was a tough early morning. I will never be pregnant, I swear!

Qing blinked at me rapidly while he processed what I said. Like I confuse the hell out of him.

(Us too. You confuse the hell out of us. Why would you...huh?)

Qing: You are a guy, you cannot get pregnant. As much as I would hate experiencing morning sickness with you...and I did experience that with you last year (see chapter: The Placebo Effect for details) I think it's safe to say that you won't get pregnant ever. You don't have the right tools, if you know what I mean...

Me: You mean a womb and birth canal?

Qing: Oh my God! TMI Dayu, what the fuck?!

Me: (sighing) I have unnatural knowledge now about giving birth. I'm sorry, but after last night, I am a fully changed man now, Qing. I will never be the same again.

Qing: (sighing) I think you are right about that.

Me: (moaning as I massaged my head) I will go back to bed. I think I am developing a headache.

Qing: (sympathetic) Oh poor Love. Go back to our bedroom and I will follow soon.

I yawned widely, scratch my right eye and accepted Qing's kiss before I zombie walk back into our bedroom. I plopped belly down on the bed and close my eyes.

Now, you might all be wondering, Dayu why are you zombie walking? Are you a zombie?

Well, if your definition of a zombie is someone who is so tired that his brain is not functioning anymore then yeah, I am a zombie.

And it's because the Goddess from the unit across from ours finally gave birth today, early morning.

It all started yesterday afternoon. As I was preparing things for Qing's return from work and deciding what to cook for dinner, like all domesticated god there is, my tablet suddenly blared to life because someone wants to video chat with me.

It's the Goddess in Japan.

Tokyo is one hour ahead of time from Beijing. The Goddess called around 5 pm so I am thinking that it's 6 there already. I got excited seeing the Goddess name on my screen as I would love to talk to her as well. But she had to stay in Japan to give birth.

We have discussed this. I already shared this story, why the Goddess had to stay in Japan and give birth. Let's not recall that story because it will just piss me off again.

Better to start having video chat with my friend.
