What the hell is wrong with this last quarter of the year?! It's like 2018 is testing our patience with each other.

You know what is worse than Qing and Zhu gege having an argument? It's Baba and Uncle having a discord.

Yes! Like my parents having an issue, Meng and Xiao fighting and JiJi leaving her husband for weeks on end are not enough, Missus Discord visited Baba and Uncle's relationship as well.

Because why not, right? Everyone in my family had an episode of arguing anyways, why not Qing's Baba and Uncle too?

Uncle is threatening not to attend the Wang Christmas celebration next month. Baba is forbidding us to utter Uncle's name in the mansion. You judge, is it bad?

My thoughts exactly. Honestly, I am getting tired of this shit. I am done with family members and friends having misunderstanding. And the worse part is, I don't fully understand the issue between Baba and Uncle because it has something to do with business.

Exactly! What do I know about stocks and bonds and market value? I don't know. And it's pissing me off.

Qing: Why is it pissing you off?

Me: Because I don't think I have anything I can contribute to help fix Baba and Uncle's relationship.

Qing: (eyes widening) Why will you try to fix their problem?

Me: (frowning) Why not? They are family, we should try to help them mend any misunderstanding.

Qing: Yeah...no. That's an issue between blood and we will not get in the middle of that storm.

Me: Why not?

Qing: Because it will be rude, Dayu ah. For one, Baba and Uncle are not asking for help or mediator to stand between them. For another, they are both keeping mum on the real root of their argument. Zhu gege and I tried to get their confession on the real reason why they are feuding, both of us got lectured instead. Mama and Auntie also tried but Baba just managed to piss Mama off, she is giving him the cold shoulders now.

Me: Oh my...

Qing: Let's stay away from that problem. Okay, Love?

Me: (sighing) I feel like we are the only ones who hasn't got an issue this last few months. Everyone got into a fight one way or the other. What the hell is going on?

Qing: (hugging) That is my question too, Love. What the hell is going on? Is there something wrong with the water we are drinking? Why are we immune in this plague of people arguing?

Me: (leaning out to look up at Qing) Oh my...what if fate has something more terrible in store for us? Qing! We will break up!

Qing: (shocked) What?!

Me: (the idea taking a root in my head) Think about it. What if fate is saving the best for last? And we are her last victims. She will visit us, disrupt our relationship so bad we will have to break up.
