Today I was going to be meeting Mikasa Ackerman at her house today. My parents are good friends with the Ackerman family. I haven't met them before, but my mom and dad has always gone on about how I should eventually meet her to try to become friends.

They say she doesn't have very many since she lives outside of the gates of Wall Maria and Shiganshina district. They apparently lives deep in the woods in a log cabin.

I was curious of their daughter Mikasa my mom and dad kept going on over, so eventually I wanted to meet her.

I walked there on foot by myself and I eventually found what looked like their house.

“Is this it…?”

I knock on the door three times and wait.

….

Eventually the door opens and the first thing my eyes settled on was her.

“His name is Randall.”

Mikasa’s father introduced me to her, but I found myself too distracted to immediately give her a greeting and I found myself in a daze, staring at her.

She was really beautiful. She seemed…. different from most girls I've seen. Her hair was black and really dark….when hit by the sunlight, it glimmered.

My parents told me she was one of the very last Asians….it was one of the very last race other than Germans that lived in these walls. Every of race was devoured and eaten by Titans outside the walls.

“Randall?”

I snap out of it upon hearing my name being called.

“N-Nice to meet you, erm, Mikasa.” I quickly outstretched my hand towards her in a timid manner.

I hear Mikasa’s mother giggle quietly….

I-I didn't mean to act timid or shy…..   -///-

Mikasa slowly takes my hand and we shake.

She introduces herself to me and we head to her room.

Her room was neat.

For awhile I would play dolls with her.

Eventually I wanted to try and have a conversation with her….

“Did you make these dolls?” I ask as I raise up one of dolls, studying the craftsmanship put into making the doll.

“Y-yes…” She answers.

“Wow…that's pretty cool!” I grin a smile.

“You think so?”

“Yeah I do! I don't think I'd really do great at this kind of thing. You got talent!”

She seems to blush lightly upon me praising her skill.

“T-Thank you….”

She seems shy. But I guess it's to be expected if she barely gets to talk to kids her own age.

“Want to go outside?”

Mikasa nods in agreement and for the rest of the day we were outside the cabin playing.

Eventually I had to return home though. She waved me off before I left and I returned a wave while smiling before retracing my tracks home.

I laid on my bed with my arms crossed to prompt my head against as I stared out at my ceiling.

Mikasa….she seems pretty nice, friendly and sweet. I'll have to make sure to visit her more often, whenever I can.

And with that, I began to fall asleep.
