Today wasn't much of training. Today mainly consisted of Instructor Shadis Keith, the most intimidating wolf around, showing the wolves around camp.

The training area is known as boot camp. This is where the trannies will learn to fight Titans, learn of their weakness, and what it means to protect the pack.

When you join either the scouts, hunters, or both, you vow to not only fight for the protection and survival of your pack, but to sacrifice yourself for them, if need be.

So the instructor showed the cadets, he likes to call the wolves who will soon be exposed to training the following day, around boot camp.

Nobody had to actually perform any exercises today. But back during introductions, a certain female wolf was eating during this time. And Keith sure did bark off a storm at her! He sent her running many laps until the sun would come down. But that didn't even seem to bother her as much as it did stripping her of her food privileges.

So this goes back during introduction. Keith Shadis would be walking by rows of tall standing wolves. He would judge them by appearance if he had to bark at them or rattle their bones. Because not all wolves are meant for this job. Not all wolves are cut out for fighting.

"AND WHAT IS YOUR NAME, CADET?!!" Keith Shadis stops in his paw tracks to bark up a storm, directed at one particular wolf.

"A-ARMIN ARLERT, FROM SHIGANSHINA, SIR!!" Armin yelps as loud as he could possibly muster. It was a challenge, but it didn't stop him.

Area Maria was a large and vast area. The largest in the outer land, actually. But because it was so vast, there were different districts they liked to call and split up the land by. And Armin comes from the Shiganshina district.

"Arlert?! Why did your parents bless you with such a dumb name?!" Exclaims Keith Shadis in confusion as to why he would been named something so... stupid?

"IT WAS MY GRANDFATHER, SIR!!" Armin answers, keeping his voice high and strong, like a wolf entering training ought to bark.

"AND WHY ARE YOU HERE?!!" Keith Shadis barks out another question for Armin to answer. And at the top of Armin's lungs...

"TO HELP ELDIANS ACHIEVE VICTORY AGAINST THE TITANS!!"

"That's wonderful to hear! You will turn out being a great snack for the Titans to feast upon!" Compliments Shadis. But it wasn't much of a compliment. A rather nasty one, actually. But if you can't handle the pressure, you got to leave.

"Third row, about face!" Howls Keith Shadis before shoving Armin and rotating him to face behind. And the next wolf the instructor approaches had a face of a horse. Not that horses' belonged in these parts, that is.

"NAME AND DISTRICT!!" Keith howls loudly. Sweat could be seen, damping the fur about the cadet's face. But they did their best to stay strong, to not reveal any weaknesses, and to be brave and give an answer.
