It was another perlis expedition beyond the walls. Death lied in every corner. Danger loomed everywhere. And endless sacrifices were being made. All for the future of humanity. And he too, had to make a sacrifice.

People who can't throw anything important away can never hope to change anything.

These were his words. And he stayed true to them by heart. He was willing to make unimaginable sacrifices to reach for his dream. Even if it meant breaking a limb.

And if he had to lose his life before ever making it to his dream, then there's no greater honor than to die for the cause in helping humanity in reaching to their future. A future without the Titans. A future with freedom.

But if he can help it, he won't die. Because if he is able to survive long enough, he desires to see the truth as to whether the Ocean actually exist or not.

Soldier's everywhere we're dying, laying down their lives for whatever chance humanity may have in creating a better future.

Armin too, was becoming a victim by these brainless monsters. A Titan had grabbed him into its own ugly hands. It squeezes Armin to the point he let's put a scream of agony. He felt as though he would explode in it's grip.

At that terrible moment, Armin wondered if this was it for him. If he had reached the end. If it was all soon going to be over. Armin felt regret-- regret for being unable to explore the Ocean. Regret for being unable to keep his promise to his friends to see the Ocean together with them.

Armin had closed his eyes, ready to meet with his unavoidable death, but then, from way up in the heavens, he saw it. An beautiful Angel swooping down to his rescue.

The angel had two pairs of Anti-Titan killing blades in her grip, and the blades slashed out the nape of the Titans neck. The Titan begins to fall. The Titan's grip loosens on Armin, being lifeless, and before Armin could collide to the ground with the Titan, the Angel catches Armin in her arms.

"Armin! Are you ok?" A voice spoke out to him. "H-Huh...?" Armin muttered, a bit out of it. He eventually snaps out of his hallucination and what appeared to been an angel before him a moment ago turned out being a dear friend-- Kiyomi. She had come to his rescue.

"K-Kiyomi...!" Armin stuttered out in surprise. Kiyomi swoops back down to the ground. Armin begins to stand, but a piercing pain immediately jolts up his right leg, and he lets out a painful yelp.

Earlier during the expedition Armin had did some damage to his leg, he perhaps even broke it. Noting this, Kiyomi picks Armin back up, bridal style.

Armin blushes red in embarrassment, but Kiyomi just smiles. She must be enjoying being Armin's hero for once.

But what occurs next, astonishes Armin. Kiyomi begins to run. She runs away from their squad, from their comrades, from the Titans, from everything.

"K-Kiyomi?! W-What are you doing?!" Armin yelps. "I'm sorry, I kinda bent our promise a bit. I sorta...well, accidentally took a peek at the Ocean. But Armin, it's real! It's actually out there! Come and see!"

Kiyomi eager runs as fast as her legs could push her across the field of grass without dropping Armin. By time they made it to the edge of the cliff, ahead to the horizon the Ocean could be seen. The Ocean reached out to the edge of the earth, it's waves crashing down gently below shore.

It was a beautiful sight. Armin admired the very sight. The Ocean....the place he used to read in his grandfather's book, the place that seemed no more than a myth, the one place that seemed completely unimaginable to actually exist in reality, truly exist. Armin, despite thinking of this place being no better than something that may only exist in fiction, exist in the real world. It was just like he read it to be. It was just as he envisioned it. It was real. And finally, finally, he's seen it.

Armin was at a loss for words, and so was Kiyomi. But turning to each other's gazes with smiles smeared across their lips was enough to understand how each felt at this very moment. "We will probably have to apologize to Eren and Mikasa for seeing it without them." Chuckles Armin.

"Yeah, we sure will." Kiyomi giggled along.
