Armin and Eren made a promise when they were still only pups; that they would see the sea together, along with the rest of the world. Because even if it's hell that exist outside their packs territory (Because of the Titans blood thirst) there lies beauty and freedom beyond the pack's laws that binds them here.

"Our pack has laws for a reason, you know. To keep everyone safe." Mikasa points out to the two male wolves. "We know, we know, just let us dream!" Complains Eren.

Eren always gets annoyed whenever he gets leturered by anyone, whether it be his mom, his adoptive sister Mikasa, or Hannes; a close friend. Because it almost feels like they are trying to keep him away from his dream. But in reality, they just want to make sure he stays out of harm's way.

Armin chuckles at Eren's reaction. Times of peace was pleasant. Even if you weren't completely free, even if you are bounded by laws; they're the reason they keep you safe. For some time, at least. Law's can't protect you forever. Sometimes laws must break while peace breaks. And sometimes rules must be bent to protect the ones you hold dear; to make your ideals and dreams come true as well.

Howling could be heard from the far distance, and the three pups knew what that meant, along with the rest of the pack. They had returned, they have come home.

"Oh boy, it's the scouts! Hurry guys, I want the perfect view!" Eren begins running towards the direction the scouts would be arriving from.

"Sorry guys, I got something I need to take care of." Armin explains how he can't be there with his friends to watch.

"Armin, you party pooper!" Eren pouts. Mikasa smiled and nodded her head however, understanding. Armin turns around to take care of whatever business he had to take care of.

Mikasa followed Eren as he tried to get a front row view. But it was difficult. There were so many crowds of fully grown wolves. They were so much bigger than him. They were like towers, purposefully blocking his view to keep him from admiring his heroes up close.

"Darn it, can't see squat!" Whines Eren as he hops around like the pup he is. But eventually he noticed a tall standing rock. He hopped onto it and finally got the view he desired.

Mikasa sat besides Eren who wagged his tail excitedly. The scouts came walking, most limping through. There were many wolves with scratches, cuts, gashes, and other wounds that slowed them down.

The looks on the hunter's faces... they were broken and beaten. And from the looks of it, barely any food had been brought back from the hunt, they like to call it.

The main purpose for the scouts was to hunt for food while being weary of any Titan wolves that may be lurking around the area. If there were any Titans, the goal isn't necessarily to fight them, but to avoid contact as much as possible.

And if the wolves come back with plenty of food for the pack, the second mission the scouts had, but many frowned upon, was to explore the land beyond the territory itself without hunting for anything.
