Armin Arlert is a soldier trying to survive in a world filled with infected zombies everywhere. He has an automatic rifle and a grenade. His unit lost a lot of men when the infection broke, but he's managed to keep the small town he's stationed near safe for now. Armin looks over the town and thinks about how things could be better.
Then Armin saw something out of the corner of his eye... a group of people walking down the street towards him. They don't seem hostile, they just walk straight to Armin without looking at anything first like they expect nothing from them.
"Armin, who are those people?" Ask Kiyomi, a friend who is in the same unit as him. "They're not human! They're infected!" Armin replies in realization as he studies the approaching figures further.
"What?! How can that be?!" Kiyomi exclaims, shocked by Armin's answer. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He says apologetically.
"I-It's... you don't have to apologise. But... why would an infected person want to kill us?" Kiyomi pondors. "I don't know, but... they're going to come after us if we don't stop them." Armin responds.
"Ok... So, maybe if I throw my grenade at the zombies, we'll be safe." Kiyomi hopes before tossing a grenade at the zombies that causes an explosion.
The explosion kills most of the infected around the two, but a few still manage to get close enough to Kiyomi to bite her.
A zombie takes a bite out of Kiyomi's arm, and she shrieks in pain! It hurts like hell, but fortunately it doesn't do any real damage. Well... it wasn't supposed to anyway. It's not like fictional stories where for an example, when a zombie bites a human the human turns into one. That's not how it works in the real world, at the very least. However...
Kiyomi dies instantly, while she felt a little bit of pain, it's nothing compared to what Armin felt. His body starts shaking uncontrollably and he collapses on the ground. "Agh! Agh! Aagh!"
Armin wails uncontrollably upon losing the only one left who mattered to him most. When the infection spread when Armin was still a child, he lost all three of his mother, father, and grandfather.
He grew up to become a soldier to help humanity find a way to discover a cure while killing any infected because the virus will spread if nothing is done to the ones who have turned.
Armin met Kiyomi when they were still training in the training corps of the millitary. Armin's childhood friends Eren and Mikasa were there with him too.
But on their very first mission upon graduating, Armin lost Eren and Mikasa to the zombies.
A year has gone by since he lost Eren and Mikasa, and now he's lost Kiyomi. Nothing more was left for the zombies to take from him. Nothing.
"No, no, please don't cry." A voice tries soothing Armin of his tears. But he still cries as tears fall from his eyes. "It's not your fault Armin." The voice assures him.
"K-Kiyomi?!" Armin jerks his head up but to see nobody. Kiyomi was still lying dead upon the ground.
But... I could have sworn that I heard her voice.
Armin was nearly positive that the voice he just heard came from Kiyomi. But nobody else was around, and Kiyomi was killed instantly...
Maybe... the one speaking to me... was her spirit.
Armin considers.
Armin wipes away his tears and he stands up, the will to live growing strong. "If I die, my memories of Kiyomi will die with me. So I'll survive... No matter what." Armin decides.
The street was becoming overflown with infected. So Armin decides to leave. He heads on his way, but looks back once.
Kiyomi, I swear... When things calm down, I'll come back for you. And I'll give you the burial you deserve.
Authors Note: This is my second attempt at doing a roleplay story with the AIDungeon computer app game. And I seriously think the robot has a thing against Kiyomi! Literally, I was planning on this being a zombie story where Armin and Kiyomi fights to survive together. But I can see clearly that the robot AI has different plans.
