It was another day Armin, Eren, and Mikasa were spread out like butterflies in the grass. Laying on Armin's chest was his grandfather's book that read of the possible places that could exist beyond the walls.
"So... do you really think it exist out there...? Oceans of salt water that spreads out beyond the horizon? Mountains of sands? Rainforest that goes on for miles...? Freezing lands of ice?"
Armin voices ethusticly while both his, Eren, and Mikasa's gazes were fixated on the skies and clouds before them.
"It would be neat." Smiles Eren. And just as always, Mikasa was silent. She rarely ever spoke, so this was normal. "Yeah... and if it really existed... maybe we should go see it together. Someday." Armin's grin grew wider and wider at the very idea.
"It's a promise. You, me, and Mikasa shall see it one day. When we are older." Armin chuckles in excitement.
"Promise." Eren makes his vow. Mikasa nods her head with a little hum, agreeing to keep that promise.
"Then it's settled!"
Dreams are powerful. It can last for many years to come. It is also something that keeps humans moving forward. But... for how long will the three have to wait until the day comes when they are able to make their dreams come true? Only time can tell...
