It was another day at Attack High. Currently Armin, Eren, and Mikasa were all three in Gym class together. Today was going to be dodgeball...and Mikasa couldn't help but to worry about the two boys.
Eren, he has a big mouth. He will get cocky and likely get attacked by mountains of swinging balls. And as for Armin, he's smart, he could easily tell where a ball is coming from and Doge it, but the only problem, he's physically weak and he may or may not be able to dodge them all if they come flying far too quickly.
"Why don't you both sit out for today?" Mikasa asks the boys while their eyes go wide in bewilderment. "Mikasa, what are you saying?!" Burst out Eren.
"Things are going to get ugly, and when it does I want you both to be safe." Adds Mikasa.
"No way!! I'm not going to let my team get all the glory and lie down their lives while I do nothing! This is bigger than the two of us Mikasa, and you know it!!" Eren isn't afraid to speak in a toxic and harsh tone to Mikasa about the manner.
"I'm done with letting others fight for me." Armin says next, wanting to participate in the dodgeball game just as much as Eren does.
Mikasa at that moment, knew. Eren and Armin's protection was far from her own reach. Especially since she is teamed on the opposite side. So perhaps she should just for once, try to put her faith in the two boys. And that's what she decided to do. And Because she's on the opposite side and wouldn't be able to bare to turn on Eren and Armin...
"Coach sir, I feel sick to my stomach and I could barely even stand. Please, may I sit out by the bench?"
"ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!?" Eren shouts in complete shock. Armin simply chuckles while a smile curls up his lips. He knew exactly why Mikasa was asking of the coach to allow her to sit out during this game.
Mikasa was allowed to sit out, and there was just a minute left before the dodgeball match would begin. Armin stares ahead across the field where the enemy team was, quite nervously. Eren speaks up.
"Here we are, Armin. We can do this! Let's see how many people we can kick out!" Eren grins at his childhood friend. Armin was originally very quiet, nervous and anxious. He felt very uneasy. But now...it was like Eren lifted a big weight off his chest and his confidence returned.
"Yeah....let's do our best!" Armin smirks a grin right back at Eren. The two were both determined and confident, certain that they could do this. But then when the whistle blew....
....they were doing absolutely terrible.
It only takes three hits before your disqualified out of the team. And upon the match starting, Eren was instantly hit by a dogeball.
"E-EREN!!" Shouts Armin.
Eren curses under his breath as he keeps his footing. He wasn't going to let it all end like this. Especially when the game was only just beginning!
"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!!?" Eren shouts at the other side, intimidating them. Or at least, he tried to intimidate them. But it didn't work.
Mikasa watched, praying that Eren and Armin would survive this game and reach victory. But all seemed to be in vain, for Eren and Armin's entire team was kicked out since all were hit three times. The last ones standing was Eren and Armin.
Armin falls to his knees as he watches all his comrades leave to the Benches, kicked out, eliminated. All he could do was watch his friends get kicked out. No matter how many balls he tossed, they couldn't reach to the other team, nor hit anyone.
While Eren was distracted, two balls hit him. One more strike, and he would be disqualified. "ARMIN!!" Eren shouted before jumping in front of Armin to protect him from a flying ball.
"EREN, NO!!!"
The dogeball hits Eren in the head, and Eren is marked as disqualified. The loss of Eren traumatizes Armin and causes him to go mad and lose his sanity, and he grabs hold of his head before letting out a terrible scream of horror, that causes everyone in the Gym's skin to crawl. You would think Armin had just watched his best friend get murdered or something.
Afterwards, Armin passes out and is called to be dragged to the Health Clinic for his grandfather to take home, since Armin's mental health was very concerning to the Coach and everyone right now.
One thing was for certain after this day, is that Eren and Armin should never be allowed to play dogeball again. For those two at the very least, it wasn't safe or especially, healthy.

P.S, Armin's is okay, he was able to get over what happened during the game of dodgeball :)
