It wasn't the same without Mina. It wasn't the same for many people. But especially for Sasha Blouse. It wasn't the same for her, without Mina because she could no longer share the food she snuck out the Mess Hall kitchen with her.
It wasn't the same without Mina because now she could no longer have her hair done with the girl. It wasn't the same without Mina because she no longer had a girl to talk and relate with when it came to certain topics the two conversed over most.
It wasn't the same without Mina without her checking on her and asking how she was doing. It wasn't the same without Mina, boosting everyone's spirits.
It wasn't the same without Mina for many reasons. She may had just seemed like another average good for nothing girl to many, but she was special in the eyes of Sasha Blouse. She was more than just a friend.
Sasha thought of her as a best friend. But she had to lose her on the day when the Colossal Titan made its second appearance and broke down the wall. Mina died during the battle when the Titans invaded the walls along with the majority of her squad mates who fell as well.
It felt odd for Sasha, being unable to share meals with Mina, talk to her, have the girl do her hair...it wasn't the same. And it probably will never be the same again. But even so, she will continue moving forward.
This was the path Sasha chosen after all-- to be a soldier. And becoming a soldier means having to watch your comrades die. Sasha knows this, but couldn't help but to feel sad when she heard the news from Armin Arlert, that his whole squad, besides Eren, had died risking their lives in battle.
But no matter what, no matter how many tough battles comes ahead, no matter how many of her friends dies, she will never forget Mina Carolina. For she is one of the bravest she's known.
