Armin, Kiyomi, and Edzard eventually arrived to the City of Nuro with the rest of the army and commander. It was a city walled by trees, rather than walls. Armin, Kiyomi, and Edzard walked through the streets of Nuro. They saw many buildings collapsed into rubble and debris. Some people were living in tents or other makeshift shelters made of wood and other materials.

"Armin, I'm confused... humans can't live outside. What about the Titans...?" Kiyomi addresses her confusion. Kiyomi was very confused to have heard the army's destination was to a city... a city she has never heard of before. Perhaps only a select chosen soldiers were trusted with information about such a city...? And if so, Armin may had been ordered to stay quiet.

"There was once a book I read among my grandfather's books... it told of people living in a city very much like ours. And just like us, they lived in fear of the Titans. However... instead of living behind a walled city, what protected the people were trees. These people had a millitary regiment like we do. There were certain ones that were tasked with guarding around the trees to ensure no Titans discovered or made way into the city." Armin spoke of what he read in one of his grandfather's old books, likely forbidden.

"I honestly thought it was some fairy tale... that, or the author was trying to reimagine if the society we lived in was different. But... in the end, I guess it was real. This is the city I read from that book many, many years ago... the city of Nuro. I wanted to take a gamble and see if it was real... and indeed it is." Armin gazes around the city, quite amazed. This felt similar to The feeling he had back when he saw the ocean for the first time...

Others were living in houses, which were also damaged beyond repair. There was no running water and only a fireplace to keep the house warm. Armin, Kiyomi, Edzard, and the rest of the army then heard a voicevcalling them from above.

"Who dares to enter my domain? Who dares to disturb my peace?" The voice said. "For those who trespass within my realm, I shall tear them apart limb from limb! Those who dare to disturb me, they'll be torn apart alive!"

"L-Listen, we don't mean any harm! We come in peace! Won't you hear us out?" Armin calls back. "No, it seems like you're just being stubborn about this. Fine, but if your really want to get rid of us, then let's go." The voice returns.

"Get rid of...? We are not here to get rid of anyone! We are here to seek clues and maybe some aid in defeating the Titans and reclaiming humanitys peace and freedom! Do you not want those days to arrive?" Armin calls once more, hoping to reach out to that voice.

After a moment of silence and thinking, the voice responds by saying, "Well, I suppose you're right. So, do you need help?" The army hung back from behind. Armin begins to follow the direction from where the voice was coming from. Kiyomi hurries along, prepared to defend Armin if needed.

These people probably should not be trusted so easily... the voice was just going on a moment ago about tearing their limbs apart, after all. So... they can't be expected to be friendly, at the very least. Edzard was grateful to Armin for saving him back during the disaster when wall Maria, Rose, and Sina fell.
