And just like that... everything... changed. At that terrible moment... in our hearts... we knew. Home was a pen. Eldians... cattle. And we were the prey.
The alpha of the Titans; later nicknamed the Collosal, for it was the biggest wolf of the Titan pack, let out a powerful howl that shook the very earth the Eldian's stood upon.
One by one, the Titans came rushing down the slope, fangs revealed, vicious growls escaping from their throats. They weren't doing this because they were hungry... but for sport. For pleasure. Simply because they can.
Everyone among the Eldians starts in a panic. Before you knew it, the wolves were running all over the place, fleeing in fear.
The chaos got so bad, some wolves would get trampled upon. Many good wolves were felled by the beast and many cried and wept.
But there was far too little time to weep. If you stayed put where you stood, even for only an instant, it was all over. You were prey. And you would not be able to escape the wrath of the Titans.
The fangs Titan's bore was far more stronger and sharper than the fangs the Eldian pack possesed. But even so, it isn't impossible for a Eldian to kill a Titan. It can be accomplished if you work together with a squad of wolves.
But the best option, especially in such a dire circumstance, a crisis, was to run and save who you can. The leader of the pack has always had a retreat option for if such a situation as the Titans discovering their territory were to take place.
If the Titans were to discover the territory, run and flee to the next claimed territory known as Rose. Eldinans live throughout the vast forest known as Paradise. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin lived in Shiganshina, the outer area of the forest.
Area rose to the Eldian's territory, took up just beyond the outer area. And if the Titans would eventually discover this area, everyone would next retreat to the innermost center, Sina.
But if the Titans were to discover our final territory route, Sina... it... it will all be over. Most says, anyway. But that's because nobody has ever thought that far ahead. Everyone always believed, since the very beginning, that they would be safe here. Forever. But... that's where they were wrong.
"Eren... we need to join the pack!" Armin reminds Eren that part of the retreat rule was to follow and stay close to the pack. Because everyone is in on this forever.
But the wolves were all scattered over the place, you could almost be unable to tell where to look or go for escape. Nothing but death and fighting could be witnessed around almost every corner.
"M-My... my mom... a pack of Titans headed that direction. That's where... the den is. W-Where mom is..." Eren spoke, his voice wavering as his entire body shook. But no matter his shaking, he kept walking ahead to that direction. He had to find his mother. He has to save her.
