It was another day for me in Trost district. I really didn't receive any duties as of yet today. I was walking down the street until I heard a familiar voice calling my name from the shadows.
I search around and see nobody. The voice calls out again, and I could see a hooded figure in the alleyway next to me.
Slowly and carefully, I approached the stranger, who turned out not being a stranger at all. The person lifts up their hood from their once hidden face to reveal themself as no other than Armin Arlert.
"Armin!" I smiled happily. But my smile slowly left my lips when I noticed the seriousness in his gaze. He also seemed a bit nervous. But despite that, he forces himself a smile.
"I can see you're doing as good as ever."
My eyes scroll down to notice Armin's sides looking a bit bulky. Armin lifts his cloak from covering his sides, noticing my observation, and there were two gas tanks hidden there, along with his maneuvering equipment. It was at that moment, I knew something was terribly wrong.
"The cloak is here to hide the gas tanks and maneuvering equipment. Kiyomi can you...come with us and help Eren escape?"
"O-Of course. But escape from what?" I'm always willing to accompany Armin, Eren, and Mikasa and to help them in any way I can. But what exactly are they trying to escape from?
"Well...after ignoring a Royal command inside the city walls, weir going to hide him temporarily. We don't intend to defy the Monarchy openly. I know it looks like an act of insubordination by part of the scouts...but weir buying some time to gather the materials we need to change the council's opinion. I promise!"
After listening to Armin's explanation and begging for me to come, I agree to come without a second thought.
"Ok, I'll come! I'm sure you'll think up a smart and convenient way to change the Monarchs opinion. But....if Eren were to be captured, what would happen to him...?"
"If Eren is captured, he will be killed!"
"Ok, in that case, I am definitely coming." I smiled, hoping to calm Armin's nerves some knowing that I was with them on this.
"O-Okay...here's an extra cloak for you to hide your identity with. We are going to have to sneak into Wall Sina and from there, we will meet up with Eren and Mikasa to escape." Informs Armin before handing me a cloak to put on to hide my identity with.
"Okay!" I agree.
We step outside the Alleyway and walk down the streets, on our way to Wall Sina. As we are walking...
"Kiyomi...you're very cooperative. How are you able to trust me so easily?"
"Huh? Isn't that obvious? You are the one person I trust most. More than anyone else." I gave a small smile.
