There it was again-- snow. It fell every winter. It started out small and little, but over time, it filled the entire yard, houses and town of Shiganshina with mountains of white puffy, cold blankets of snow. Armin opens up his window to see the snow continuing to fall. The snow was so beautiful as it fell slowly to the ground. It was such a beautiful sight to behold. Armin's only wish however, is for him to be able to step out in it.
Armin is sensitive to the cold. The mere touch of a cold breeze blowing right past him in winter weather, is enough to give him a cold, and to bed rid him for two whole months, if not longer. Armin's condition to cold weather is very serious. His parents and Grandfather is always concerned for Armin in winter and refuses to allow him to go out in it. Armin loves the snow in winter, but sometimes winter despite it's beauty, can he quite gloomy since he is forced to stay cooped up in his house the entire season.
So because of that, Eren always makes visits to Armin's house. He is aware of Armin's condition when it comes with being exposed to the outdoors during winter. So since Armin can't pay him visits, Eren tries to visit Armin as often as possible. If he can, he even tries to visit every day, even if its only for a little bit.
Eren will often hang out with Armin upstairs in his room, and the two will read books together, discuss about it, and afterwards share their hopes and dreams to the other. Eren can stay over at Armin's for so long, Mikasa is sometimes left the duty to go over to Armin's place and to drag Eren away for dinner.
Armin dreams to see the Ocean. But he also dreams to one day, be able to step out into the cold winter weather, while being immune to the cold like the others are. So he is always left to stay cooped up in his room, books shoved in his face, left to dream the whole season.
Will Armin's dream ever come true? He doesn't know, honestly. He wishes for it to become true, but can it be possible? Perhaps one day, he should try it. To step outside once again. His parents keep him from doing it, but what if he's no longer affected harshly by the cold? What if he's able to handle it as well as everyone else can? Eventually he's gonna try. And by doing so, maybe then, his dream of dancing in the snow will be a reality.
