Once again Armin was dragging his feet away after being bullied and beaten by his bullies. They always ridicule him for being interested in the world beyond the Walls. They would call him a heretic and beat him up for it.
Always Armin would either have to defend himself from these brainless boys, or he would be rescued by Eren and Mikasa who always came to the rescue and scared off his bullies.
He was always being protected. Because he was weak, and his friends thought he needed protection. Armin hated being a nuisance. He wished he could take care of himself and be equals with Eren and Mikasa and to perhaps return the favor for all those times they came to his rescue.
Armin was sobbing as he dragged himself along a lone street. He was sick of being so weak and worthless. He wanted to be strong. Strong enough to protect himself and to be the one to do the saving. And one day, he admits his feelings to Eren and Mikasa.
He admits how he feels weak. He admits how he feels pathetic, how he feels like a burden weighing them down, and how he's worthless. But he also adds how he could be strong just like them, so instead of being the one protected all the time, he could finally be the one doing the protecting.
"Armin, you could have told us this a long time ago. You didn't have to keep this all cooped up inside forever. If you'd only tell us, we would help trained you a long time ago." Eren explains to his best friend.
"W-Wait....you mean..."
"That's right, buddy! Both me and Mikasa will teach you how to become stronger just like us! We'll teach you the Kung Fu ways!"
And ever since then, day by day, whether Jack Black's Kung Fu Fighting song was playing or not, the three would practice together as Eren and Mikasa taught Armin how to perform Kung Fu.
By three months time, Armin was no longer the weak boy he once was. He was now a strong and mighty Kung Fu master! And the last time Armin's bullies dared to pick on him, they regretted it for dear life.
