Adel figured since everyone has made it this far, that it might as well be worth fighting for peace. Because maybe in the end, winning this battle may bring back the once peaceful days everyone only dreams of having.

And perhaps along the way, the truth as to wether there truly can be a cure to the infection may come to light.

Adel makes her decision swiftly, to keep fighting, so she picks up the pace and follows Armin into the city, which is completely destroyed.

"Why are you following me?" Asked Armin, a little irritated. He was sick of this girl following him around all over the place. It made sense in battle, but now she can go her seperate way. She doesn't have to be pestering him anymore.

"I made my decision... that this battle... is worth fighting for." Answers Adel with a determined nod.

The buildings have collapsed onto each other and fallen over. Adel saw a few survivors fleeing towards the nearby town, but they aren't making it very far. The streets are filled with broken glass and crushed vehicles.

"Hold on... if this place is mostly destroyed... why keep this place safe? What's the point?" Adel questions, not hiding her confusion.

"This place wasn't in this state before the battle began. Infected individuals turned into zombies must have roamed into the town. And having no other choice, soldiers must have started throwing grenades in the middle of all the chaos." Armin explained.

"I see..." Nods Adel before drawing silent. "But... even in this state, this place is still worth fighting for." Armin adds. "And why is that?" Adel asked. "Because this is the town a friend grew up in." Armin left it at that.

Armin and Adel arrived at the hotel and decided to rest up in seperate rooms until nightfall would arrive. The first thing Armin does upon entering his room after making sure both the door and windows were locked tight was collapse on the bed. The fighting wore him out completely.

A large bed sits against the wall next to a dresser. A small table and chair sit against the opposite wall, as well as two windows facing each other across from Armin.

Armin sat up, thinking back on a dream he had during his sleep. Standing before him was Kiyomi. She was smiling, but looked sad. It looked as though she had something important to tell him. What was it...?

Armin didn't know. But he snapped himself out of such thoughts, knowing it won't bring about anything. Armin took a quick glance outside and saw that the sky was darkening. He also noticed that the streetlights were out. This must mean that there are no lights in his immediate vicinity.

"No problem, luckily I'm prepared." Says Armin as he zips open a bag of his and took out a lantern. He works on giving it a light, and once accomplished, he swings it at his side. Now he should be able to see anything that surrounds his path.
